I love this book because the kids think that it is hilarious, and it shows how important it is to love your family and spend time with them!

The Robo Plunger was decapitated, and the juice that came from him was poured into The Turbo Toilet 2000 to bring it back to life. Now that he is back, he is coming to Earth to wreck havoc. I love this book because it has all the potty humor that it needs to keep students having a good time while they read.

• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is an entrancing novel that brings one of the most famous series to an end. In this book Harry and his friends have to fulfill the job that Dumbledore left for them. This job is to destroy the Horcruxes. Throughout their journey Harry and his friends have to fend off many different villains and fight for their lives. In the end Harry has to fight 'He who shall not be named', and it is an epic battle. This is one of my all time favorite books, from my favorite series!

• Twilight is the beginning to one of my favorite story lines. In this book a shy and quiet girl meets a seemingly troubled boy at her new high school. Edward ends up saving Bella's life, more than once, and she begins to become curious. She digs and digs, and she finally realizes that he is a vampire. She and Edward think they are safe, until some bad vampires try to come after Bella. Edward has to save her at all costs. I love this book, and I think that Edward and Bella's story is one of the most romantic stories out there.

• Piecing Me Together is a powerful story about a girl named Jade. She so badly wants out of the neighborhood that she grew up in, and her mother is her constant encourager. Jade gets accepted into a prestigious (majority white) private school. She immediately feels as though she is being judged and targeted. Jade gets invited to a mentor program, and even though her mentor looks like her, Jade doesn't feel like she understands her. I really enjoyed this book because it gave me a new perspective on how hard some people work to get where they are, and how you cannot judge someone on where they came from.

• This is an amazing book about an amazing little girl named CeCe. CeCe is having to start at a new school, but if that isn't scary enough itself... she also has a huge hearing aid strapped to her. At her old school all the kids were deaf, so she fit in. Here at her new school she is different from everyone else. CeCe then discovers that she has a super power! That is great and all, but all CeCe wants is a true friend. I love this book because it shows how people with disabilities just want to fit in with everyone else.

This book tells the stories of women such as Harriet Tubman, Oprah Winfrey, and more. I think this is a great book because it is so empowering for young people (yes, even boys!). This shows that if you work hard for what you believe in, then you can make it happen!

Moonshot tells about the gear, machines, rockets, and of course, the moon. This book is an adventure and kids will learn so much through reading it. I love this book because it will keep kids excited and engaged, but they will be learning the same time.

• This book is very much a simple, but informative book. It has minimal text, but it is sure to get the point across. The illustrations are big beautiful, and they help tell this story. Because of an Acorn explains the circle of life, and how one little acorn is a part of such bigger things than just itself. I like this book because the text is so simple, but it still tells a huge story.

This book is also very funny and entertaining. • This book is great for students who are interested in learning more about the slaves and their lives in the 19th century. 
• Freedom in Congo Square is a book about slaves in Louisiana in the 19th century. This book tells how on Sunday's they would all go to Congo Square in New Orleans. This was a place for them to be free, and do things like sing, dance, and forget all the bad parts of their lives. I love this book because I think it is a great eye opener for students, and I think it can teach its readers a lot.

• This book is great for teens and young adults. 
• The Maze Runner is the first book in a very exciting and intense series. Thomas, a teenage boy, wakes up in a dark elevator with no memory. When the elevator doors open he is met by a large group of boys. They welcome him to the Glade, the place where they are all surrounded by massive stone walls. Thomas learns of the maze that lies behind the stone walls, and he knows that he will have to figure his way through the maze to escape the Glade. I love this book because it shows courage, and because of the intensity that it brings.
