My name is Rich Powers, and I am very happy to meet you and learn together in our COIL Project. I teach digital and diversity competences for student teachers at the Professional School of Education Stuttgart Ludwigsburg, and I love every minute of it!

Exploring positive education and social & emotional learning is going to be a very important experience for us, and it's exciting that we get to explore transnational, intercultural practices together!

My name is Sümeyra, but many people call me Sümi. I´m a sixth-year student in Bachelor English & Political Science Teaching Qualification at the University of Stuttgart.
I´m delighted and excited to seize this unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a project that will expand my solid education and create new opportunities for my future career.
In high school, I had the opportunity to take a Spanish course/class for two years. Unfortunately, I´m no longer good at talking or writing in Spanish but I love the Spanish culture (especially the music!) and language.
Currently, I´m in the US staying with a host family. And by chance, my host mother is Hispanic (from Puerto Rico) and so I´m happy to refresh my knowledge and language skills!
