It was a well-rounded experience and a very different approach to learning was undertaken. Furthermore, different perspectives were acknowledged and there was no right answer which was a very good practice. I learned a new literary device - Epizeuxis, which is the repetition of a word or phrase with no words in between. 

I learned that a hook is an important part of the introduction, even in a formal essay in the third-person such as the compare and contrast. I learned that a thesis in a CnC does not have to spell out everything that you will talk about in the essay as long as states an overarching idea as the base. 

I was reminded that L&L aims to sensitise us about different cultures, ethnicities and points of view when we explored how the rhyme omitted certain social groups, and also when another student and I interpreted the same device differently.
