A traditional desert in Chile is the Bavarois o mousse de lucuma. It is basically a mousse typically made with evaporated milk and a fruit jelly. In this case, the mousse is made with jelly made from lucuma. Lucuma is an orange fruit that tastes very sweet. It also has a very soft texture. The texture of the mousse is 100% determined by how much the milk evaporated. After it is made, it is usually chilled all night long, for the hot days in Chile. This desert is also topped with whipped cream, to give it a great presentation, and creamy taste.
