The father of one of the two had received a coral reef in Ecuador for his work as a doctor. The place was famous for the passage of ships laden with gold and jewels. The two protagonists and the father of one of the two, decide to rent a boat. The captain, the boy and a dog accompany them to look for the treasure. For many days they go diving without being able to find anything. One day one of the characters finds the bow of the sunken boat they were looking for. unable to find the entrance they decide to buy dynamite to open a hole and be able to enter. The group of friends during dinner tell their plan but some thieves listen and decide to steal the treasure that the protagonists were about to find. 
They find the treasure but during the return to the boat they meet a shark which luckily then leaves.
They continue for days to extract gold from the boat until one day the wreck sinks to the bottom of the abyss. Everything they recovered they divided between themselves and half returned to the Ecuador State.
