• A lot of it is due to customer requests or government bans on the use of certain unhealthy substances. Such as the Health Promotion Board (HPB), Singapore, banning the use of Hydrogenated oils which is a large source of artificial trans fat. 

• A good example would be Gardenia bread who cooperates with this ban. Customer requests being that the customers either complain or request for healthier alternatives. Such that they can still enjoy the food without worrying about the negative impact on their health.

Perhaps they saw an advertisement or news regarding the negative effects of certain food products on their health. They could even have seen a positive advertisement that encourages them to be healthy. It is all these factors that affects people’s decision in the food products that they buy. 
• This Covid-19 pandemic gave people a lot of time to think about their life choices. With the Lockdowns happening, people react differently. Many people make use of this opportunity to be more health conscious.

• There has been an increase in the negative impact on the environment due to increasing food production
• The change is negative. Which means that something is suffering due to it. In this case, the environment and people suffer.
• Oreos. Yes, many people enjoy eating oreos, but the story behind its production is darker than the cookie. More than 40 billion Oreo cookies are produced each year One primary ingredient in an Oreo is palm oil. 
• Palm oil plantations require dry land. This dry land is created by companies who drain the land making it extremely flammable. Fires can go out of control and lead to more greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere. The deforestation in Indonesia is driving many animals, including Orangutans too extinction. Due to the fact that Oil Palms are grown in tropical countries,

These livestock then release gastric methane into the atmosphere, further impacting the environment.

1. Properly size your HVAC system. For indoor grow rooms, sizing the HVAC system is critical to handle the heating and cooling loads you will get once you start growing plants in those rooms. Controlling air temperature with enough air movement and dehumidification can be hard to do when you are also trying to get the most plant density out of every room.
2. Install horizontal air flow (HAF) fans. Especially in indoor grow rooms, these fans are essential to help with air flow that helps distribute temperature more evenly throughout the crop and breaks up microclimates around all leaves for better gas exchanges, in addition to helping control powdery mildew. Try to avoid “dead air” zones (without airflow) within your rooms or greenhouse zones. Fans located too high above the crop do not provide enough air movement within the crop, but fans located too close to crops will adversely affect your ability to manage moisture levels.
3. Use shade curtains during high-light and high-temperature months. Shade curtains typically are designed for 30% to 50% light reduction and should be closed during the brightest and hottest hours of the day. If there is no retractable shade curtain inside the structure, whitewash can be sprayed over the greenhouse roof to act as a shade curtain until you need to wash it off when fall weather approaches.

2. The location of this NZF will be on a coastal area as the main farm will be situated as we want to take up as little land space as possible.
3. The NZF will need to be at least 3 stories above sea level to ensure the cows safety from the ocean’s waves and sea levels.
4. At the top of the NZF, we will have sky light windows where the air and light goes in.
5. Surrounding this structure would be a garden of seagrass and seaweed (grown separately)

10. The remaining gases produced by the cows, specifically the carbon dioxide, will be filtered out from the farm into the sea to aid the growth of seagrass and seaweed. To further aid the growth of seagrass and seaweed, we will play the ‘healthy ocean sounds’ which will boost the growth rate of the seaweed and seagrass.
11. Seaweed, like land plants, use photosynthesis to turn carbon dioxide (CO2) into seaweed biomass. This process is known as carbon sequestration. Seaweed grows fast, really fast, so it can suck up CO2 at a phenomenal rate. Seagrass also absorbs CO2 at a phenomenal rate faster than rainforests.
12. How to grow seaweed sustainably;

1. We cannot pump out all the carbon dioxide into the ocean, as it will end up polluting the sea. Hence we will make use of the extra carbon dioxide to aid the growth of the meat growing plants in our meat growing plant greenhouse.
2. In order to make NZF fully sustainable, we will make use of solar panels (converts sunlight into electrical energy) and hydroelectric power generators (converts kinetic energy from the ocean currents to electric energy) which will be used to power the NZF.
3. Because the cows need a proper living environment with the right temperature to survive, the energy that we sustainably produce will be used for a heater, a cooler and to power the air-filtration system.[air filtration system is mentioned in points, 8 and 9]
4. We will potty train the cows to defecate and urinate in specific locations. Allowing us to collect their waste and use them for other useful purposes. 
        - The cow dung will be harvested and used to fertilize the meat growing plants  greenhouse. 

1. We can add automated milkers to the farm, providing the cows with relief while also allowing us to extract a profitable product from them.
2. Once the research of the meat growing plants is properly developed, we can help countries facing food shortages. This will be a beneficial food source, allowing us to tackle the problem of hunger around the world. 
3. We will be providing these countries with the seeds necessary for them to grow it themselves.
