I use toilet paper and flush it down the toilet when going to the bathroom. A way to help the environment is by not using toilet paper too often and investing in a bidet to use instead.

I used a pencil that had grown too small to be comfortable in my hands, and the eraser had completely fallen off, so I threw it out. Pencils are made of wood and lead, so this isn't very good for the environment. An alternative to this would be using "Greenciles." Greenciles are made out of recycled paper

I bought chips during lunch and I threw them out because they can't be recycled. Although I can't force the school to switch what chip bags they buy, an alternative to buying the standard chip bags you can buy brands of chips that use compostable materials.

After school, my mom used various fruits and vegetables to make a salad. She bought these fruits and vegetables from the grocery store. A way to improve the environmental effect of the transportation of these fruits and vegetables is to buy them from a farmers market.

After school, I went on a run. I put on my running shoes because I didn't want to wear my school shoes. Shoes create a lot of waste in production, from the fibers used to make them. A solution to this is Nike Sustainable Materials, which uses recycled resources to make clothing and shoes

When I get home from school, I like to charge my phone because it is usually low on battery. My charger is almost always already plugged into the wall, which uses a small amount of power passively without charging anything. One way to prevent this is to unplug your chargers when you're not using them.
