I also know that these bosses are selfish because they are firing the girls if the bleed on the cloth and they are only and just doing this for the money for them and they are not even paying attention to the person that they are and these are such silly rules that they made up and i bet you that these rules were not checked or approved for them to give to these girls by the mayor or some one that is in charge of making that decision. This is why these rules do not protect these girls working in the factory and why these rules that the bosses give them are plenty silly. don't care they just want the money all they want none of the rules would protect the girls cause the bosses they don't care they just want to torture you and make you work to get the money nothing kept them safe at all they werent reasonilbe to make rules that are not letting YOUNG KIDS be safe cause 6-12 are still kids that can get hurt with a sewing machine after all the bosses only wanted the money and to torture the girls but clara is uncrushable at all none of the rules PROTECT the girls none of that these rules were unfair nothing kept them safe so the rules are not safe to protect the girls but they are not and if they are called saftey rules tgen what dose it do to keep you safe and it really dosen't at all it only tries to give you a warning about if you get fired and you cant leave this room and you are not allowed to leave unless when everything is over and you are allawed and it is really silly to put a lock outside the door so no one can leave they cant try thye have to be so perfect to do all the clothes not every one is perfect so the rules don't keep them safe it is another thing but not to keep you safe or feel protected at all it was not really telling you how to be safe cause it really is just giving you a warning you cant do this if you messup on the clothes and we don'f get money you get fired which is really silly there is a lot of rules that because the rules that they gave them was really silly for example if you are late you earn half a day's pay like if I came in late and usually if I wasn't late I would earn $10 but if I was late I would only earn $5 which is silly in my opinion. Another rule is if you prick your finger you are fined but if it happens another time you are fired. The last rule is they have to lock the doors and they have to make sure that the girls haven't stolen anything from the factory. Really there's nothing to steal all there is is a room with no sunlight and a bunch of chairs and some machines all crammed up. And also the bosses don't care about the girls all they care about is the money and the clothes that they make for example going back to the rules that if you prick your finger you are fired and the bosses don't care if they prick your finger all they care about is the clothes that you make that's why you get fined or fired. And I don't even know if they give you Band-Aids maybe it was invented yet. Anyways in the beginning of the text it said that Clara knew it was right and wrong right in Her Bones and she said that the child labor is a wrong thing to do and also some of the girls that are there are maybe even less than 6 years old some are in their teens some are around their teens. In my opinion I think that is silly for them not to hire their mom or dad but hire a young girl and also in the illustrations it shows that they were all white people none were an African American. That's why I think the bosses don't care about the girls they care about the money and the clothes that they make.
