From what I understand:

1) Knowledge needs to be sought by us to obtain it. It's also important to acknowledge that one mind does not have the power to reach the end of truth. Yet, all knowledge in this world belongs to Allah, and from the blessing we seek refuge by understanding that our mind is limited.

2)Question about "Did any knowledge besides Islam is important"?

• The answer is yes because it is harder to live in a ummah without specialist of something. Our life is also rooted in the concept of Sunnatullah which is the reality that we live in must be a reason and not magically occur.

• For example, someone that got struck by a disease needs to be cured but there are none people who know to cure the disease, so basically knowledge is wide and not specified to be sought by us only by Islamic teaching.

• In conclusion, we need to learn the knowledge that can be useful here and hereafter, Wallahu A'lam.

3. How about the Qur'an?

   • Qur'an has a chapter that descended in Mekah and Madinah. Therefore, it has been named chapter Makkiyyah or Madaniyyah.

   • It has 6236 114 chapters, 6236 verses

1) Responsibility of Actions: Verse 284 emphasizes that individuals are responsible for their deeds and will be held accountable for them. Allah knows what is in people's hearts and minds.

1. Dua (Supplication): The verse encourages believers to turn to Allah with their needs and desires, highlighting that He listens and responds.

2. Guidance and Mercy: Verse 285 discusses the belief in Allah, His angels, scriptures, and messengers, stressing that believers should not differentiate between them. This illustrates the importance of faith and unity in belief.

3. Accountability and Forgiveness: Verse 286 reassures believers that Allah does not burden anyone beyond their capacity. It also expresses hope for forgiveness and mercy, emphasizing that Allah understands human struggles.

Overall, these verses underscore personal accountability, the importance of faith, and the compassionate nature of Allah.

• having faith can strengthen our mindset to live in the right way, and control ourselves either going too high or going too low in life. Sometimes, we might see ourselves in high places; but we somehow forget that we are only here to be a servant and vicegerent of Allah and everything that we own belongs to Him.

• However, we must also do good deeds to people because in that particular action; only we will find ourselves room to fixed compare to the one who think they are good enough and already ready to meet his Lord.

• Semua yang ada dalam kehidupan kita ni kenapa jadi begini begitu; semuanya ditetapkan oleh Allah S.W.T, atas kita nak bersyukur ataupun tidak.Adapun, jikalau kita tidak bersyukur ; kerugian itu hanya pada kita kerana Allah S.W.T tidak memerlukan syukur kita. Wallahu A'lam.

1) Prophet Yusuf got tested by Allah in his life in many ways:

• girls

• brothers

• slanders

• dissatisfaction, etc

But he keeps fearing his Lord despite the temptation to give up being loyal to his Lord. The amount of taqwa that he had shown the meaning of Ihsan in Islam.

We need to apply Ihsan in our lives so that we are aware that everything that we do( work, marriage, family, charity, prosperity, body, and mental welfare) will be judged by The Owner of The Day of Judgement.Wallahu A'lam

1. Dialogue with His Father: Ibrahim addresses his father, expressing concern over his idolatry and urging him to abandon the worship of false gods.

2. Call to Reason: Ibrahim emphasizes the futility of worshipping idols, inviting his father to reflect on the oneness of Allah and the importance of true faith.

3. Rejection and Conflict: Azar responds with anger, rejecting Ibrahim's message and threatening him. This highlights the struggle between faith and familial loyalty.

4. Commitment to Truth: Despite his father’s hostility, Ibrahim remains steadfast in his belief and commitment to Allah, showcasing the importance of holding on to one's faith.

Overall, these verses illustrate the challenges of advocating for truth and faith, particularly within one's own family, while emphasizing the significance of unwavering belief in Allah.

1. Sincerity (Ikhlas)
   Sincerity is at the heart of Ibadah. It's crucial to perform acts of worship only for the sake of Allah, without any intention of receiving praise or recognition from others. This purifies our hearts and strengthens our connection with Allah SWT.

2. Gratitude (Shukr)
   Being grateful for Allah's countless blessings can enhance Ibadah's performance. Gratitude serves as a deeper sense of humility and awe toward Allah, making acts of worship more heartfelt and meaningful.

3. Humility (Tawadhu)
   Worship in Islam emphasizes humility. When performing Ibadah, a person should be mindful of their position before Allah, acknowledging that they are servants in need of Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

4. Repentance (Tawbah)
   Recognizing our faults and constantly seeking forgiveness is the essence of being a servant to Allah. Repentance allows to realize and admit their sins and express their remorse to god

5. Patience (Sabr)
   Patience is key, both in practicing Ibadah and in facing the challenges of life. It is not an easy task to continuously try to be a better Muslim since the world today is full of people who are led by their own lust and desires.

Reasons Why Ibadah is Important:

Fulfillment of life’s purpose – Humans were created to worship Allah (Quran 51:56).

Strengthens faith (Iman) and connection with Allah.

Provides inner peace and tranquility through obedience.

Brings barakah (blessings) in life.

Protects from sins – Regular worship keeps one away from wrongdoing.

Sources of Hikmah (Wisdom) from Ibadah:

Qur'an & Hadith – Primary sources of guidance.

Scholarly Interpretations – Teachings of Islamic scholars provide deeper insights.

Personal Reflection – Observing the benefits of ibadah in daily life.

Stories of Prophets & Pious People – Learning from their devotion and sacrifices.

Week 3: The Five Pillars of Islam

1. Shahadah (Faith)

Declaration: "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger."

Foundation of Islamic belief.

Requires sincerity and conviction.

2. Salah (Prayer)

Five daily prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha).

Strengthens connection with Allah.

Encourages discipline and time management.

3. Zakah (Charity)

Obligatory annual giving (2.5% of wealth) to the needy.

Purifies wealth and reduces greed.

Introduction to Zakāh

One of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Obligatory for Muslims.

Strengthens relationship with Allah.

What is Zakāh?

Literal meaning: Growth, increase, cleanliness, and betterment.

Technical meaning: A fixed share of wealth prescribed by Allah for specific recipients.

Promotes spiritual purification and social responsibility.

Zakāh vs Sadaqah

Zakāh: Compulsory, structured, specific in recipients, amounts, and payment.

Sadaqah: Voluntary, unstructured, includes all acts of giving (e.g., infaq, waqf).

Significance of Zakāh

Mentioned in the Qur'an alongside prayer over 30 times.Example: "Take, [O Muḥammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase." (Al-Tawbah, 9:103)

Virtues of Zakāh

Tawakkul (Reliance on Allah)
