A PROSTITUTE THAT HELPS TAKE WATER FOR A THIRSTY DOG

As narrated in hadith, Rasulullah PBUH once told a story about a prostitute who helped a thirsty dog. So one day a prostitute saw a dog next to a well that stuck out his tongue because of thirst, and then she took off her shoe and used it to take water from the well. Because of that noble deed, Rasulullah PBUH said that later that deed would make her enter Allah's Jannah.

The moral message I took from this story and applied in my life is that it doesn't matter how bad you are from a human's pov, but as long as you can do good deeds, help others, and be a useful person then be like that. Because we don't know which simple good things we've done will help us in reaching Allah's Jannah.

PART OF MEDIA AND DOCUMENTATION TEAM

In order to increase and develop my soft-skills, I decide to try learning photography and videography. I registered and be part of media and documentation team in Indonesia’s Student Union’s and some events that held by Indonesian student in IIUM. Along with time, I’m planning to join International Student Union’s Media’s team or other bigger event to develop my skill which also my passion as well.

USRAH 2 SHARING SESSION

Led by brother Muhammad Naqfis Mohammad Ibrahim, Usrah 2 Section 102 that mostly held in mushalla mahallah Siddiq, became a platform among the students and teacher to share things. Not only about academic problems, we also often discuss daily and basic questions. Having such a welcoming group of people to share and solve problems is a thing to be grateful of for me. May Allah reunite us again in His Jannah Insyaallah.

PESONA NUSANTARA 2024

Indonesian students in IIUM have two annual events called Indonesian Day and Olimpiade, Indonesian Day is an event for Indonesian students to deliver and show people about Indonesian culture in the form of performances, while Olimpiade is a sports base event that participated by Indonesian students in IIUM. The difference with years before, in 2024 the committee decided to merge those two events into a big event named Pesona Nusantara 2024. So this event contains of sports competitions and also cultural performances.

In April 2024, I was approached by the chairman of Pentra's committee to be the head of the mediting (Media and Marketing) division. At first, I was hesitant, since I hadn't joined a committee as big as Indonesian Day or Olimpiade, especially to be a head of a committee division. But with the support of my friends and guidance from seniors. I accepted the offer and Alhamdulillah the event went successful.

I am grateful can be part of this amazing team. Every single element of my journey with them led me to who I am today, with the experience, ability, and lessons given were precious.
