Akbar also made trade easier by having a standard currency money and weights, so people could buy and sell things fairly. India became famous for making really good clothes, like cotton and silk, and beautiful handmade items. These things were very popular, not just in India, but in other countries too.

Thanks to all of this, the Mughal Empire became really rich and powerful because of its trade with other places.
