With floods, rising ocean levels, and hurricanes to deal with, island communities all across the world find themselves in difficult situations.
Despite their hardships, however, many of these communities and villages are finding ways to pick up the pieces and rebuild, inspiring us to do the same and find ways to prevent disasters before they can devastate these communities.
