My theme, funny and mean parts, can be found in The Twits and Fantastic Mr. Fox. In Fantastic Mr. Fox, a mean part is that Rat was being greedy, rude and had bad manners. The funny part is that at the end of the book it says the farmers are still waiting for the foxes...I think the woman wanted to poison Rat!!! In the book The Twits, one mean part was when the monkeys had to stand on their heads because Mr. Twit made them! The Twits also make bird pie with the most innocent birds!!!!!!!! The funny part was when the animals got revenge and put the furniture on the ceiling so the Twits got the Shrinks!! These are some of the funny and mean parts in Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Twits.

My theme, the funny and mean parts of a story, can be found in Matilda and The Twits. For Matilda, the funny parts are when the kids are throwing food at Ms. Trunchbull, and when Matilda uses her magical powers to pick up a piece of chalk. Ms. Trunchbull putting Matilda in the choky is a MEAN part of the story. For The Twits, the funny part was when the four boys jump out of the tree without their pants because they were glued to the branch. Another funny part is when the Twits get the SHRINKS after being glued to the ceiling!! A mean part is when Mr. Twit buys two guns to kill birds for bird pie. These are my examples of mean & funny parts.

My theme, the funny and mean parts, can be found in Matilda and The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me. In Matilda, Mr. Wormwood made Matilda bring in boxes of stolen car parts because it is mean to make your kids do bad things. Mr. Wormwood also does not let Matilda read because he thinks it's a bad idea. One funny part is when when Matilda makes the man's car roll down the street. In The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me, a funny part is when the giraffe stretches his long neck because he ate candy. Another funny part is when the monkey shoots out fire because he ate fire candy. Also, a funny part is when the giraffe runs to the tinkle tinkle tree.
