A crescent is a curved shape like a banana.<br>If you can't think of a recipe to write, remember we made playdough in school using flour, water, oil, salt and food dye. <br>Time connectives are words like first, then, next and finally.<br><br><strong>Optional activity:<br>Art:<br></strong>In your copy or on a page design a Spring jacket or jumper using different patterns.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Hi 2nd class.<br>I hope you all had a great Easter break and didn't eat too much chocolate. Here's some work for the boys and girls who come to me. Hope ye enjoy doing these activities and keep up the good work ye were doing with me before. <br>Missing you all and looking forward to seeing ye again soon. <br>Ms Duffy😊<br><br></div><ul><li><strong>Literacy -(can also be done by children who attend Ms. Flannery) </strong></li></ul><div><br><strong><em>Monday</em></strong>- Read for 10 mins (book or online) Adult asks you to tell what happened in your own words.<br><br><strong><em>Tuesday</em></strong>- Draw a picture. Write 3 sentences about it.(anywhere) Adult chooses one word to focus on for practising. Write it on the back of your page 3 times. <br><br><strong><em>Wednesday</em></strong>- Child chats you about any topic. Example- My favourite trip/My best friend. <br>Then adult asks them to say 5 sentences about the topic and adult writes the sentences in print, small (lower case) letters. The child then reads the story written. <br><br><strong><em>Thursday</em></strong>- Read yesterday's story. Adult asks 3 questions based on it - Who?
