A bore 

Not bad not good just 

A bore

I’m but a hatchling waiting to soar

Waiting for the wind to come

I need to find new heights

But a breeze has yet to come

I’m a blank canvas 

Waiting for colors

Waiting for a picture 

Waiting for an image that’s unequivocally me

My life has been like milk and toast

My life has been as boring as grass

My life has been a bore, and yet 

It has only just begun.

By myself

the way I like it.

The darkness comforting like a mother to a child

engulfing me whole after tiring days on end.

The AC roaring, silencing all reality outside my door

Chills piercing my body

shaking like a vibrating phone.

A candle is always lit as I get drunk off the scent

all stress and worries lifted.

My vision slowly going in and out

my eyes heavy.

I lay in bed staring blankly at my ceiling 

Pondering today, the present, and the future to come.

This is my ideal evening

                                                     
She chuckles, she laughs, she smiles.

Does that mean she has no troubles?

Yeah, her sky may not always be blue. 

Yet, His word always remains true.

Her heart is like a heavy bucket of water. 

She goes through her storm willingly, 

knowing that the most High God is the Umbrella.

Friends? Ha

“ A Fountain.” She declares she is to them.

When all she knows is being used.

They don’t understand her.

Her intelligence is like a stray dog

You’ll never know where she’ll end up

She’s worth more than the priciest price tag

She’s bigger than a bear,

See, she chooses to be a servant until her storm is over.

She’s waiting for the trumpets to sing.

The knock on the door to ring. 

Only Yahweh will declare when it’s time for her to reign.

Everything had changed 

The moon is a little farther 

Thee catapiller turned into a butterfly

Everything has changed, 

My hair is a few inches longer 

I’ve grown a bit taller 

I even got a little stronger

Everything has changed 

Nights are colder 

Days are shorter 

Everything has changed,

Time goes on

Everything may change

But missing you 

Always stays the same 

Lost in her own little world 

Speaking to a voice that never 

wants to let go , battles get harder

and harder as I go, while I’m  running through the storm

She is a warrior with weary eyes 

 

Just be happy, they said

Stress overriding her body 

  like a puppet on some strings , 

life spinning out of control

This is the sign you have been waiting for 

Just be happy, they said

 

           She looks for those signs of relief and 

     reassurance but finds herself worse than she                               thought , as abandoned as an unloved pet .

Tears constantly dripping , bloop , bloop , bloop

Just be happy , they said

       Found a sweet sweet love , someone i      would’ve never thought before , fell in love

with myself a little more, currently striving 

for that happiness i absolutely adore 

She is a conqueror smiling eye to eye
