1^st activity: Over the deep blue sea!

This unplugged activity acts as an introduction to the programming and gives the opportunity for all of the students no matter what level they are to join and complete successfully the activity.

We can start by watching the following video: Over The Deep Blue Sea | Kids Songs | Super Simple Songs (youtube.com ) and then we discuss the moves that we could do (right, left, backward, forward) if we were on a pirate ship!

Then our students work on an A2 format card. They have to help Beebot find the treasure avoiding the obstacles by drawing the squares. When they finish, they should explain to us the path that they created by using the words “forward, right, or left”.

2nd activity: In this game, the BeeBot acts as a "pirate" searching for treasure. The children must accurately guide the BeeBot through a path filled with obstacles (such as rocks or storms) to reach the square with the treasure. You can create different "scenarios" each time by assigning different missions to the group (e.g., reaching a specific point or collecting clues along the way).
