It started with innovations like: the chinese abacus, printing machine, etc. These innovations were designed to make calculations more efficient and easy for scientists/mathematicians. The first eletronic computer was made in 1900's, it was made in Pensylvania, it was able to precisely predict a rocket's journey from a distance to the another place. The modern computers are made by companies like apple, windows, dell, etc. The modern computers have advanced immensely since the olden days, today computers can do multiple things and the invention of them has enhanced the world/productivity largely.

The history of computers can be classified into 3 generations. The first being from 1937 - 1946, which could only perform a singular task and also used a lot of space and vacuum
tubes. Then came the 2nd generation which culminated over 100 programming languages, with the first being Fortran. Then with the invention of the transistor, the incorporation of bits was done into computers. Then the 3rd generation came with the invention of the integrated circuit. Because of this, the occupied space of computers became less and less which produced products like the Macintosh, MS-DOS, etc. From then on, the human civilisation continues to innovate, and divulge into quantum computing which paves the way for tougher tasks, further understanding and solving of lots of humanity's problems.

The history of computers started with the invention of the abacus. Charles Babbage created a steam-driven calculating machine that would be able to compute tables of numbers. In 1890, Herman Hollerith designed a punch card system to help with the US census, which previously took 7 years. It was completed in 3 years and saved the government 5 million dollars. He started the company that ultimately became IBM.

Throughout history, computers have been to perform either complex tasks or to make daily life easier. The first example of a computer was invented in Mesopotamia and was called the abacus. It allowed for simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Then there were instruments like the astrolabe, the slide ruler and the sun dial that were used throughout history in order to make calculations and make observations. Then, in the 1930's simple computers were made that used up a lot of space. Today computers are used in daily life and are a huge part of our lives.

However, rather than utilizing expensive committed transmit lines, the wire framework associates those teleprinters to one another over voice phone lines, directed by adjusted phone switches. Remote variants of Telex before long associate remote districts of the creating scene.

C programming Language-1970
The C programming dialect is discharged. Dennis Ritchie and his group made C dependent on the prior dialect BCPL (Basic Combined Programming Language) and not long after re-composed the source code for Unix in C. C is still broadly utilized today.

Vic-20-1980
Commodore discharges the VIC-20 home PC as the successor to the Commodore PET PC.

There are many fathers of computers. Charles Babbage is considered the first one. He invented boolean logic and algebra. This is essentially uses two numbers 1 and 0. The output of 1 is given when the value is true, and 0 when it is false. Then came Alan Turing, he made the Turing machine which carried out any arithmetic operation by executing orders. Konrad Zuse, made this more specific and created the first programmable computer.

I learnt about the history of the modern computer. The first computer was the ENIAC, as the first general computer, it used vacum tubes. These tubes were able to use binary, and were the basis for modern computing. It weighed over 3o tons, and had over 18,000 tubes. It was also used in the creation of the hydrogen bomb. The program still remains classified. soon, transistors were introduced, and they were a much more reliable system in replacement of vacum tubes. The personal computer was introduced in 1981 by IBM.

At that time computers didn't have multiple operating system, only single functions. Then 1951 the public was introduced to computers. Then in 1953 IBM 650 and 700 series computers came out which had more functions, storage, and operating systems. After the integrated circuit was found, computers became smaller and more powerful running multiple systems at the same time. In 1980 Microsoft Disk Operating System was made and this enabled computers to be items for office and personal use. In 1983 Macintosh was made.
