  At first big nate was talking about getting in trouble.Him always being in detention made him think he was missing out in stuff so he stopped getting in trouble to the best of his abilty.  Throughout the middle he was trying to be a better kid and kept slipping up and making mistakes just not near a many as he used to. As he keeps getting better he starts to be able to do more things.
At the end big nate started hanging out with his freinds to much and wearing off his welcome and started not cleanin his room and otheres.
