The best scene that best depicts a critical moment for the main character is a moment when Enzo sees the whole argument happen between Denny and Eve trying to give Zoe a dinner she wants. Zoe was being stubborn and wanted attention from Denny because he’s not home that much. Eve is taking care of Enzo and Zoe all the time when Denny is away with racing. Eve also has some really intense medical conditions that are very serious. When Eve cut her thumb Denny said that she'll go to the hospital. Eve didn’t want that because she was scared they were going to keep her there for days because something might be wrong. Denny kept pushing as a way of trying to help after feeling so guilty that he’s never home. The author dramatizes the scene by Denny trying to help Eve with the cut on her thumb and he’s helping because he feels guilty by never being home all the time because of racing.    

        I can relate to Enzo’s owner Denny. I focus a lot on what I'm passionate about. I work hard and make sure that nothing is given to me. I always make sure that I earn it and work hard. With dealing with stress I can relate that to Denny by taking it out on family and not having a healthy way of releasing that stress. I get so stressed that I tense up and you can see it in my face and body language. It’s like I can walk into a room and change the energy and make everyone stressed because I'm stressed. Denny does the same in a way. He puts so much stress on his family and it trunks into a huge argument that ends very badly. I’m not too sure if I ever experienced an identity crisis however, I have had some struggles in life and overcame them and learned from them. This reminds me of the short story we read in class called “Say Yes.” by the wife getting cut with a utensil and blood dripping everywhere. Also with the husband both trying to help because they feel bad that they don’t do more.
