If you eat too much sugar you will become addicted and won't be able to control yourself. Eating too much sugar can lead to diabetes, heart disease and liver disease. You can also get metabolic syndrome which leads to many of these diseases. Fructose is the sugar that makes fruit taste sweet. Manufacturers extract the fructose removing the fiber and nutrients in the process. Now studies have shown that fructose is toxic to the liver. Eating too much sugar also can decay your teeth. In some fizzy drinks there is up to 12 teaspoons of sugar in a 330 ml can. Sugar also causes diabetes, dementia and obesity.

Sugar acts like a drug so if you consume too much sugar you can overdose like a drug, which causes to a sugar rush. Most sugar is sweets but it is in many other types of drinks and sauces like ketchup which has about 76g of sugar in it and 4.9g for every serving of ketchup. The best sugar is natural sugar instead of sweet sugar. Most people have more than 12 teaspoons of sugar everyday day.

Sugar is addictive. Having too much sugar can lead to type 2 diabetes, which can lead to blindness, kidney failure, amputations, heart attacks and strokes. According to http://sugarscience.ucsf.edu, "Having just one soda per day, over time, raises a person’s risk of getting diabetes by 26%". When you have too much sugar, your brain activates a reward system. This reward system makes you feel good, which make you crave more. There are many different kinds of sugar, including glucose, fructose, starch, sucrose, lactose and dextrose. There are also natural sugars, which are in fruits and vegetables - it is added sugar you need to look out for. Sugar can also give you energy. If you have a pop late at night, then you might get hyper, because your body is not used to having so much sugar at that time. There are lots of foods that might seem healthy, but turn out to have lots of sugar in them. Some examples of them are ketchup and spaghetti. Also, sports drinks have lots of added and unhealthy sugar.

If you eat too much sugar your dopamine levels will go very high, but will not level out like it does when you eat on a balanced diet. Your body will then become to crave sugars, and you would become "addicted". Eating too much sugar can cause many diseases including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. According to sugarscience, doctors are now treating the first generation of children suffering from fatty liver disease. On the other hand, in small quantities and far apart suger will not be harmful. On the topic of "How much is too much" The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends no more than 6 teaspoons (25 grams) of added sugar per day for women and 9 teaspoons (38 grams) for men. The AHA limits for children vary depending on their age and caloric needs, but range between 3-6 teaspoons (12 - 25 grams) per day.

If you eat sugar it activates the brain´s reward system. The reward system answers your question, ¨should I have more¨. It tells you you should have more of it. The same thing happens when you take drugs. The chemical or neurotransmitter Dopamine makes you want addicting things more and more. Every time you consume sugar it kickstarts the rewarding feeling. Too much sugar, too often and things go into overdrive. Sugar causes obesity, diabetes, dimentia and heart disease. However, sugar also makes you feel great in the moment you are eating it!

And the way those thing happen is you get addicted because sugar reileses dopamine in your brain making you addicted and causing a similar affect of when people take drugs or drink alcohol. It causes you to what more but your brain doesn't tell you when you've had enough so you keep on eating sugar and then eventualy something bad will happen you will become obese.

When your taste buds tastes something sweet it sends a signal to the brain that triggers the reward system which causes addiction. The human body uses sugar for energy but if there is too much sugar put in the body the body will not be able to use the sugar so they turn the sugar into fat and stores for later use if needed. Even though processed sugar is bad for you there are sugars that are good for you, like sugar in fruits and veggies. Sugar is something no one can avoid.

Your brain releases dopamine when you eat sugar so you want more but when you eat vegetable, your brain doesn't release dopamine. When we drink the same amount of sugar in sugary drink, it doesn't include that fiber and when we drink sugary drinks, our bodies respond to that blast of sugar by producing triglycerides. You can get easily addicted to sugar since you never get bored if you eat too much.

When you eat sugar the brains reward system activates. When this system is activates your body sends a signal to brain. Witch makes you want to have more. Having small amounts of sugar here and there doesn't hurt but eating a lot of sugar all the time is the problem. When you have sugar, drugs or alcohol the dopamine levels in your brain go into over drive. When eater sugar your dopamine levels don't go as high as they do when having alcohol or drugs, but it still makes a difference. Lets say if you have one sugar drink a day it raises the chance of you have type 2 diabetes by 26%. Diabetes is not teh only disease you can get from having to much sugar. You can get heart disease, liver disease, strokes and even heart attacks. There are many types of sugar.
