The Raven

They say love last forever

Though I say it does not

I thought she Loved me

But indeed she did not

People say i'm mad

But I say I am not

She said our love would last forever

But it did not

I thought she was one the one

But indeed she was not

And  as she hanged from the rope

She proved she was not

On the day I met her

As her blonde hair danced in the wind

And after our marriage

We said we would have many kids

We said our love would last forever

But sadly it did not

She said she was doing fine

But indeed she was not

Why do people say love last forever

When it cleary does not

I wish love lasted forever

But sadly it does not

Basketball is the dream

Even though it may not seem

You stay up thinking all night

Thinking how you would make the team right

You practice outdoors

Then show who you are on the gym floors

You go from losing by ten

Then you come to reality and get the WIN!!!

My Shadow

The water is dense

I'm drenched with it

I lost my courage

Where is it

There might be my shadow

Crawling up like flooding indigo

That made this liquid

That washed away the inferno

That fire I once kept

Dearly in my heart

Burned away to cinder

Where did the shadow come

If fire doesn't emit it

Was it the shadow of my dread

That I have created?

The sun rises and the morning winds blow;

Leaves of bushes and trees dance in the breeze.

Honey bees and deer emerge as the sun rays glow.

Colors of the flower petals shimmer in the light.

The sun retreats from glory to let the moon shine;

One of the clever cycles of time.

Fireflies flutter in the calm night, nature's design.

Clouds hide stars to kindly bring rain to the plants.

Isn’t this all amazing?

The graceful mannerisms of the outside world,

It needs well deserved praising.

I love nature and everything in it, pure beauty.

Who has seen the wind?

The grass is green

The birds sing

Leaves fall,

fall,and fall

Sun is bright

Clouds are clear

Cold is here

And snow is near
