  • Differentiated instruction- Do not only instruct based on auditory learners; incorporate visual and hands on as well 

  • Acknowledge different verbiage and understandings- Take into account pronunciations when it comes to things like spelling. Take into account the difference in situational dilemmas and social norms when it comes to problem solving and comprehension too

  • Personal space customizations- Allow students to keep their space the way they like it based on their background and preferences

  • Know and listen to the guardians- Work with the guardians of the student, not against them. They know the student best.
