I really love cromebooks

It`s really cool I literally went home and tried to make my own website yes failed but the point is I got it from school. Most of the teck skills I have,I got from school. I feal like we have opened a new way of learning. It`s like we have the whole world in front of us .In my opinyin it`s a better way to learn than siting for 45 minits and listening to stuff I wouldn`t even remember half of . My dad gave my own computer and he was already a computer engineer and he was blown away. It has really brought joy to our class. Almost every thing we do includes teck in some way. It really makes our work a lot easier. Not very many adults can work well with teck and that just means that you`r schools are teaching kids stuff that you`r schools never taught you think about how much of a head start that gives us.

Technology is awesome. It can teach you stuff quick and easy instead of going page by page in a normal book. If I miss a assignment I can just go home and do it. Easel.ly is so much eraser then going out and buying a poster board and all that stuff. Instead you can do it all on a Chromebooks and the best part is its free

Personally I think tech has made it easier to do stuff like write and read and this was so fun I wish I could be in Mr.Shannon's class again but life is life you know. You have ups and downs. Technology was such a big impact for my class and I, it can help us learn and get job done quickly, one great website that we first ever did on the chromebooks was typing club, just to improve your typing speed and accuracy. Another great website is Khanacademy.org, its a website where you can learn math and explore more if your doing at home.

Easel.ly http://www.easel.ly/ these are websites that allow you to display facts in a fun and very wacky way. Before we had these we had to use our hands to write EVERYTHING! it hurt our hands so much. But then when we got these it is like playing a video game, you push the button and the word pops up so after a writing assignment my hand is as soft as a pillow. The way these are formed are perfect there the perfect size and they work for portable use perfectly. I love the new lock cart its way more better. It functions allot easier. It helps me with punctuation because if i spell something wrong or forget to put a period or comma it reminds me with spell check so when I go to write something on paper I remember not to make those mistakes. Chrome books also makes me not stress out as much with long assignments like instead of writing my hands of I could type and my hands wouldn't hurt anymore. Chrome books have got me looking at things a little more different, for example maybe I would look at what kind of technology in the object I'm looking at. These Chrome books also help me do research on things. Once we got these it had a huge impact on us and we were shocked that we could have our own computers. Since I remembered my school passwords and email I can do my school work from home. These Chrome books brought joy to our class and its made our school work much more easier.

It has been a good experience on the chrome books learning about all of these helpful websites.I love using the Chromebooks and I think it will be helpful for other schools in our district.One of my favorite websites on the Chromebooks was prezi. It is better to type and do projects than to write.

I love the chrome books. We have learned to do many things on them. Without the chrome books it would take way longer to do projects and writing assignments. Also They are very fun to use. I have learned how to make a prezi , a booktrack , and many other things. I think I have done good with chrome books and many others have to. The impact for technology was great. I learned a lot that I didn't know. All the websites that we used for learning was better than a pen/pencil and a piece of paper and then write or draw. In writing we typed our stories on an app called Google Drive. In math we use a website called khanacademy.org. We get to use typing club to make our typing skills faster. I love the chrome books I learned new websites I love easel.ly, Prezi Padlet and typing club i tried most of these things at home I also liked sumo paint I typed more faster because of typing club we did writing on this chrome books. We played games on there we did research on the native american's and it helped me write about them I wouldn't be doing all these things if it wasn't for Mr. Shannon! Learn storm is also fun you get to solve diffrent kinds of math problems you also unlock characters if you get a good math score. Padlet is fun because you get to type about a bookyou can do all types of things on padlet. We did a easely about the four native american regions and it was pretty fun. It made an impact in my learning because I learned how to code i had a good experience with chrome books. Another website I liked was Newsela. You can change the reading level you can read articles. I liked Booktrack because you can listen to books and there are sound affects you can also make your own book i made one and it was really fun. The fun part was the affects I got to add affects to my story.

The chrome books because we get to do like typing club,sumo paint and math and important work and this is the only class i have been in with chrome books and also on chrome books I can learn new websites and mostly everything we do is tech. my teacher has though use about Native Americas that's why we used the chrome books to learn and study about them.One of the websites are called Easely and on that you can put your favorite thing that you have studied about ,you get facts and information , then you can design it how ever you want.Another thing that we did was presented our Build A Boat poster there you have to build a boat out of tinfoil and we had to see how many pennies can it hold. What I put on my poster was (what I'm Testing) (Materials) (will it sink?) (building the boat) and my conclusion.Learning to me is a very important thing in life, you become smarter as you grow and what my teacher has thought me was adding different fractions,and what I learned was you can only add the manometer and the denoerater stays the same for example if you have 2 +5 that =7 and if the bottom number was 4+4 then it would still be 4 so the answer would be 7/4 in fraction form . Another website will be Newsela there you can read story's and you can change the grade level to an easier or harder. I really liked having to study on chrome books because you can learn new things and it makes things so much easier!!!!!

I love technology. It really helped me on easels ,typing ,math spelling. It helped improve in everything I really love it. It helped on learning new web sites. It helped my writing because I don't have to write it down I can just type it. On the chrome book I learned things like typing club, easels, prezis, padlet, and emaze. The Chrome Books was a very big impact to me because sometimes we got to type our writing in Google Docs and it was very relaxing to me.

Chrome Books really helps us a lot because when we research on topics the websites helps us a lot.

We did Typing Club in the begining of school and it really had a big impact on my typing and it made me type faster when i typed my writing.

Instead of reading newspapers (never) we went on the Chrome Books and we went on Newsela. Where you can change the reading level and there are a lot of articles and sorted into 8 categories:

War & Peace, Science, Kids, Money, Law, Health, Arts, and Sports

I think that the Chrome books are a big help because you can go on typing club why? Because it helps you get better at typing and you actually learn something from it .I also think doing technology is good and it is also very helpful because if you have a school project you can do research on your Chrome book it is really helpful.You can even make a Prezi on you chrome book and use it for a project .I also think that when you use your chrome book you can look on new websites and discover something new you can even go on KHANACADEMY to do math ad learn something new! I think doing a Prezi was a fun thing for me to experience not just fun great! If you are asking why? because you get to show the real you and you learn from each other as a fifth grader it has been a great time learning about new stuff .

As a fifth grader I love typing club and makeing our Prezi you can even read on Newsela and you can even change your reading level .I probably even could not of known this if Mr.Shannon did not teach us about this I have to say it was a wonderful time .You can even go on sumo paint and get creative and discover new things .You can also go on Easel.ly and make your own Easel.ly oh and also go on Book track and create your own storys!

I think that doing technology has really been a great experience because we got to use many cool sites.

This helped me as a 5th grader because you could put all your information in the computer.

We also used the chrome books for research. We did the research for Native American writing.

Khan Academy: It helped me learn about new math things that Mr. Shannon has not taught us yet.

Over the past few days we have been working on Padlets. You are looking at one right now. These are a great way to organize notes with the whole class.

With technology, we also did a lot of Google Docs. We typed up stories and drafts of many different things. This made writing easier because we just had to type. Also, Mr. Shannon could comment on the doc and tell us things about what we were writing. Here is one of the things I typed up on Docs:

Chrome books have been the best thing that I've known because we get to do a lot of things such as going to websites and much more.Another reason why I like the chrome books is because they help you find things for example when I did my native american writing I got help from the chrome books by researching information about them.For me I think that they are very helpful because that developed my learning in fifth grade becuse there is this app that is called khanacadamy that helps you in math.

It has been a great experience to use the chrome books and to teach us how to do prezi and other stuff like that. how we can learn how to do it at home. I learned more and I learned how to use Google drive and I think more schools should get chrome books so they can have the same experiences that we had. It has really helped are school. we go on web sights that are amazing.
