Also they both have different ages as two Miranda is turning 17 and Alex is 17. Another  difference is that there family as to Miranda's, were more prepared for the event than Alex was. I think Miranda and Alex are kinda of the same because they both are kind of in the same boat as too whats going on in there life, so there's one. Also they have stuff thats going on in there family besides the main event which is the world ending. And the last one would probably be where they have the same plan to go as far as getting away from destruction or to go to a safe destination.

I also think there different because Alex is kind of the mature one when it comes to making sure that everyone is safe as of his sisters could really care less. I think there the same because they kind of get along with the same people.
