         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Permafrost is a permanently frozen layer of the ground. Melting permafrost interferes with hunting activities. Families rely on more expensive, store-bought, often less healthy foods.&nbsp;<br>2. Most live in small communities, from Yukon to Newfoundland and Labrador. For them, climate change is something that affects their everyday lives.&nbsp;<br>3. The consequences of climate change for Inuits are the threat losing the animals that they rely on. The shift from country food to expensive, store-bought and often unhealthy food items.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
