New York City has the greatest population out of all American cities; 8.4 million.

New York City is located in the eastern part of New York State. It is located on Manhatten Island bounded by the East, Hudson, and Harlem River. Closer towards New York State there are lots of Appalachian Mountains. Inside Central Park you can see lots of metamorphosed sedimentary rock, the type of rock that the entire city is built onto of. American modern dance developed in New York in the early 20th century. Throughout your visit to New York City, you will be given the opportunity to eat, dance, and experience more cultures than any other city.

Recent ISIS Attacks across the world means that there is always a threat in any city, especially a big city like New York. New York City has recently received a bomb threat in some schools. Schools were closed but students returned to class 2 days later. Investigations are still undergoing; the threat was made by terrorists but no real action has occurred so far. This issue will not affect your trip in anyway, we can assure you that you will be safe! We do suggest that you take extra caution just incase and stay away from most NYC schools. To learn more read the article below:
