She honed her skills by riding at many clinics given by renowned professionals like George Morris, Ann Kursinski, Rodrigo Pessoa, Matteo Giunti, Nona Garson, and Herry De Leyer. To this day, she travels to Europe, where she is mentored by Matteo.

Julia Hill graduated from Columbia University with a BA in international business. She resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California, and owns a farm in Italy, where she lives periodically. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, paddle boarding, and attending concerts.
