Why do people believe it?
Some people feel tired or get a low fever after their flu shot, so they think they’re getting sick. Others might catch the flu right after getting vaccinated and assume the shot caused it, even though they were probably already exposed to the virus before the shot.

2.) Why is it important to know the truth?
If people are afraid to get vaccinated, they might skip it and have a higher chance of getting the real flu.

By:Ava Ellison

Myth: Sugar makes kids hyper.

1.)Why do people believe it.

Some people believe this because, the sugar-hyperactivity myth is based on a single study from the mid 1970's in which a doctor removed the sugar from one child's diet and that child's behavior improved. Since then, over a dozen larger studies have been conducted without proving sugar causes hyperactivity. Interestingly enough, researchers have found that parents are more likely to say that their kids are overly active when they think they've consumed sugar. In one study, parents were asked to rate their child's hyperactivity after consuming a drink with sugar. Unknown to the parents, the drink was sugar-free, but the parents still rated their child as more hyperactive.

2.) What is the real science or fact

Some researchers suggest that simply expecting sugar to affect your child can influence how you interpret what you see. A study published in the August 1994 Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology showed that parents who believe a child's behavior is affected by sugar are more likely to perceive their children as hyperactive when they've been led to believe the child has just had a sugary drink.

3.) Why is it important for people to know the truth?

it is important for people to know the truth because some parents will not want there kids to be hyper and not let them eat sugar then there blood pressure could go down because they have not had any sugar.

There are no connections between the two except for the reduced strength but it doesn't last long.

What is the real science or fact that proves it wrong? There's no scientific evidence to support the claim that cracking knuckles causes arthritis. Studies do show though that there's been no increase in risk of arthritis in habitual knuckle crackers compared to those who don't crack their knuckles

Why is it important for people to know the truth? This is important because if it does then people will have more pain in joints and stiffness. if this is true then there will be more problems and it could cause mass problems like say some guy has arthritis in the military and they can't hold a gun or grenade it can cause serious problems in the world
