I think it is important for citizens to vote in the General Elections because the citizens should have the right to choose who they trust more to run the country. If the citizens did not get to vote, there could be a government in charge that might not keep its word and the country would not progress. The people might also not be happy and there could be protests against the bad government and people could get injured. However, if a good government is put forward ,the people would be happy and the country would continue to progress

think it is important because by voting, we will chose the people who speak up for our country.Children in Singapore are exposed to high levels of stress. Parents push for academic exellence and children are stressed to do well in school .They also face health risks from inactive lifestyles with too screen time, poor nutrition, and little sleep and physical activity. So if I got voted ,i would make it a rule to go outside to get exercise, to get active and to take a break from studying.i think we can learn about elections through this activity.i think it is very important that they keep their promises as it would not be fair for the people who voted for them and for the other candidates. This is how my poster would look like:

Has anyone ever lied to you? Was it nice? Of course not! No one likes getting a lie thrown straight into their face. That is why upholding integrity at all times is very important. I hope candidates running for the election will realise that by keeping the promises they made during the elections. After all, honesty is the best policy. It builds trust and is the foundation of a happy and close-knit community. Many leaders do not keep their promises after getting elected, using various excuses to save face. I think this is extremely wrong as people voted them to solve problems, not to make excuses. I hope the candidates running for the General Elections will not do this. Obviously, after that kind of incidents, most citizens will lose their trust in the leader ,just like how we lose our trust in someone when they lie to us. As the saying goes: it only takes a day of rain to destroy a drought 's one year's worth of work. In a nutshell ,I believe candidates should keep the promises they made during elections because it will build the people's trust in them.

I think that it is important for candidates to keep the promises they make during the elections. During the elections the main reason most people will be voting for the candidate will be because of the promise they made , like to help the community. Hence , if the candidates do not keep their promises , people will feel that the candidate tricked them. Leading to anger amongst the crowd as they wanted the candidate to keep their promise. Breaking promises , lying or tricking someone is not good just because the candidate wants to be chosen he/she should not lie their way though it.

I think that it is important for every citizen to participate in a general election because every vote counts, their one vote could mean a change in the whole results. If the votes are 50/50 on each opposition, then one vote can change the outcome. If one citizen does not vote, then others will vote for them. Might not be who they want to vote for though!

I think citizens should vote in the General Elections because every vote makes a difference. Even a single vote can make a difference for the whole country. Citizens should vote based on what they need not what they want. If I was a candidate, I would promise that I will take everything seriously and make Singapore a greener place. Young people can tell their parents (who will vote in the General Election) about their opinion. If I would have the chance to make a poster, I would write at least 5 things about why they need to vote. If the candidates wants to make a promise, I think they would have to think twice and ask themselves questions, eg. How will I keep this promise? Do I have the ability to do what needs to be done? If they do not keep their promises, I think the citizens will be furious and will regret voting for that candidate.
