The library received a LEED silver rating on July 11, 2018. It has a very good rating of indoor environmental quality but scores very poorly in material and resources, water efficiency, and innovation which all are scoring under 40% in their category. Each of those scores brings the grade down. Nonetheless it is a sustainable sight and it creates a good environment for its visitors.

Melony: Innovative is being original and unique. I like how modern the library looks. I would love to visit it

Evan: I find this building very appealing and has provided a good environment for its visitors. However, I feel they have a lot of work to do to progress the building further.

Nick: while it does not score the highest, it has potential. It is in a good location and haas the ability to improve its rating. Overall it is a beautiful building that could be more sustainable.
