A dictator is an individual who obtains full power over a country. Four dictators who took part in the war were: Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, General Hideki Tojo, and Joseph Stalin. Adolf Hitler was a Nazi dictator of Germany who planned and started WWII and killed anyone who opposed his views.. General Tojo was an aggressive army general and later became a minister of war who attacked Pearl Harbor. Benito Mussolini took control of Italy. Joseph Stalin was a Russian dictator that served a General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union's Central Committee to defeat Hitler's Germany. World War Two was a global war between the years of 1939 to 1945. One cause of the war was The Treaty of Versailles that had a tremendous impact on Germany. Germany had to take the blame for the war and make reparation payments to all countries that were affected. This treaty had impoverished Germany leaving its economy in shambles. Germany had also lost a lot of territory. Another cause was the Japanese expansion. Japan did not have enough land or resources to grow properly so they invaded Manchuria, a resource-rich region of China to obtain the territory and resources they lacked. The United States then authorized the sale of weapons to China. Fascism is the development of authoritarian government. The fascism ideology grew in Italy followed by the dictator Mussolini who took control. Hitler and the Nazi Party emerged from his fervent nationalist views of the victorious allies. Germans were devastated after the Depression struck their economy and lifestyle . As hopeless as they were they decided to vote for radical parties like the Nazis and Communists to try and restore the nation. At the sight of Hitler's uprising, countries like France and Britain tried to establish compromises with Hitler to appeal to his demands.

Amongst the copious causes of World War Two the root of the cause comes from the aftermath of World War One and the effects of the Treaty of Versailles. A few causes that indirectly caused World War Two are Italian fascism in the 1920s, Japanese expansion, and Hitler and the Nazi party's aggressive foreign policy in 1933.

After World War One there was economic turmoil, and the collapse of the economy caused some countries to be taken over by dictators that formed powerful fascist governments in order to expand their empires. Fascism is an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization. It was an ideology that glorified the military and considered war "acceptable" for achieving national goals. Even though the treaty of Versailles didn't make World War Two inevitable, it hastened the conflict. The Treaty of Versailles ended World War I between Germany and the Allied Powers. However, since Germany had lost the war, they were forced to accept responsibility of the war damages that the allies suffered. This caused German prices to inflate and Germans to become vulnerable for somebody to restore their economy and their national pride which led to the election of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party. With Hitler as the dictator of Germany he resented the restrictions Germany had due to the Treaty of Versailles. While talking about peace, Hitler rearmed Germany and expanded its empire. Hitler established concentration camps that were a threat to the Jews and other races that were believed to be a threat to Aryan supremacy.

Lastly, Japanese expansionism led to World War Two. As Japan was industrialized, their land didn't have enough resources such as iron ore, oil, and coal to sustain their growth. With Japan being unable to achieve self-sufficiency, and unwilling to capitulate, the Japanese had no choice but to to attack the United States' naval base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and British forces to seize the resources they needed desperatley.

👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑

A dictator is someone who has total power over a country typically, one who has obtained power by force. One of the dictators that everyone knows -- Adolf Hitler, who was the leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. He initiated World War II and oversaw fascist policies that resulted in millions of deaths. He was the most influential voice in the organization, implementation and execution of the Holocaust, as well as the systematic extermination and ethnic cleansing of six million European Jews. The purpose of the Treaty of Versailles, outside of establishing guidelines for continued peace, was to put strict treaty obligations on Germany in hopes of preventing further war and make the country pay reparations for the damages caused during the war

•Joseph V. Stalin ruled the Soviet Union for more than two decades, instituting a reign of terror while modernizing Russia and helping to defeat Nazism. Basically, he was a Russian leader who succeeded Lenin as head of the Communist Party and created a totalitarian(a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator not restricted by a constitution or laws) state by purging all opposition 1879-1953. Also, Stalin forced rapid industrialization and the collectivization of agricultural land, resulting in millions dying from famine while others were sent to camps. His Red Army helped defeat Nazi Germany during WWII.

* Benito Mussolini rose to power in the wake of World War 1 as a leading proponent of Fascism. After the war, Mussolini resumed his political activities, criticizing the Italian government for weakness at the Treaty of Versailles. He organized several right-wing groups into a single force and, in March 1919, formed the Fascist Party—the movement proclaimed opposition to social class discrimination and supported nationalist sentiments, hoping to raise Italy to levels of its great Roman past. He also created the Fascist Party in Italy in 1919, eventually making himself dictator prior to World War II.

Three reasons that caused WWII were :
1. The effects of the Treaty of Versailles: The need to pay war reparations, coupled with the instability of the government caused massive inflation which crippled the German economy. Germany was also forced to demilitarize the Rhineland and had limitations placed on the size of its military, including the abolishment of its air force.
2. The Rise of Fascism and the Nazi party: Fascism (a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition)was embraced by the Nazi party who came into power in the late 1920s lead by Adolf Hitler, who followed the central idea of Fascism while also advocating for the racial purity of the German people and additional German living space
3. Germany Remilitarizes: On March 16, 1935, Hitler ordered the re-militarization of Germany, as well as reactivating the air force. This clearly violated the Treaty of Versailles, however European powers voiced minimal protest because they were more concerned with enforcing the economic aspects of the treaty. Germany was also able to reoccupy Rhineland violating the Treaty of Versailles again with no protest from European countries.

The main causes of WWII were:
1.Treaty of Versailles:
- After Germany lost WWI, the winning nations drafted a treaty to address issues such as territorial adjustments, reparations, armament restrictions, war guilt and the League of Nations. The treaty punished Germany and left bitter feels. Germany was forced to accept all the blame for the war and pay millions on reparations to Britian and France.
2. Japanese Expansion
- In 1937 Japan invaded China. They wanted to dominate all of southest Asia. They joined the Axis alliance with Germany and Italy in 1940 by signing the Tripartite pact (Agreement between Japan, Germany and, Italy). A former General of the Japan army had become the Prime Minister in 1941 and had decided to attack the United States which lead to the attack on pearl harbor.
3. The Great Depression (in Germany)
-In Germany, depression, unemployment, and hard times led to the dramatic increase in votes for hitler and the Nazi Party:
a. Unemployed individuals had begun taking Adolf Hitler's side with the mentality that he would fix their problems
b. US restrictive tariff policies worsened depression
c. As economies plummeted and unemployement rose, people turned towards powerful leaders

The most immediate causes of WWII are:

-Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles ended WWI between Germany and the Allied Powers. Because Germany lost the war, the treaty was very harsh against Germany. Germany was forced to "accept the responsibility" of the war damages suffered by the Allies. The treaty required that Germany pay a huge sum of money called reparations. The problem with the treaty is that it left the German economy in ruins. People were starving and the government was in chaos.

-Invasion of Poland / Expansionism
To Hitler, the conquest of Poland would bring living space for the German people. According to his plan, the "racially superior" Germans would colonize the territory and the native Slavs would be enslaved. Hitler turned to propaganda and misinformation alleging persecution or German-speakers in Eastern Poland.

-Racial Superiority
Hitler used propaganda to make the German people believe that Jews were behind all of their problems, that the "Aryan" blonde hair blue eyed people were superior to every other race on Earth. This gained him a large following and got him elected into office. These beliefs were the base of the Nazi ideology. Hitler believed that because of their racial superiority, they had the right to conquer the land they lost in WWI, which included Poland.

A dictator is a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained power by force.
