Each side of the larger group is given a scenario (Side A and Side B). Side A will stay in the classroom and Side B will go out in the hall. Each side has 5 minutes to read their scenario and come up with a plan. After 5 minutes all students will come back in the classroom. There will be two chairs set up facing each other, only one member from each side can sit in "the hot seat" and start talking. The other members gather behind the speaker and switch in when they have something to say. The catch is that both teams have a common scenario, but are representing different perspectives or details. The goal is for students to communicate and achieve a mutual agreement.
