1. This time as a student of UMK I 
    did my SIEP at grocery store.The     name of the store is L.K.T Store   
   and the owner of the store is             Mr. Kesavan.

2. First day, I report to the owner of      the shop together with the letter      of confirmation from UMK.

3. The owner explains the history   
    and how they develop the shop.  
    Later on, I get acquainted with    
    the workers there.

4.The first day was just like    
   training for me and the owner   
   ask the workers to teach me the 
   works so it will be easy to me 
    later. The guidelines from the  
    workers make me confident and  
    happy to do my work in that  
    shop.
 
5. The day just end with the     
     training with the help of the   
     workers there.

    started my work the next day  
    which is the second day of my  
    siep.

2. Kak Kavi(the worker) had given  
    me a responsible to clean all the  
    shelf in the shop and rearrange 
     back all the goods properly.

3. While arranging all the things  
    she asked me to record the  
    items that are out of stock so  
    that can arrange with the new  
    stocks later.

4. I realise recording of the items  
   that are out of stock will helps  
   me during taking stock from the  
   store without left out anything I

    arranging all the new stock in the 
    shelf.

2. Before arranging the new stock  
    Kak Meena(the worker) ask me  
    to take all stocks from the store.  
    She show me the location of the 
     store because I am new to work       there.

3. As i say the recording of the   
    items that are out of stock really 
    helps me in this time. I take all 
    the stocks and put it in the big 
    baskets so that i can bring all the 
    together to arrange it on shelf.

2. Before i started labelling price 
    kak Kavi(the worker) already  
    labelled price to some items 
    yesterday. But today she ask me 
    to continue the work because  
    she wants me to learn  
    something new.

3. Before i started my work kak 
     Kavi teach me how to label price 
     on  the things. She used price 
     gun for labelling price for all the
     things. She teach me how to 
     use the price gun and she say  
     must be careful and alert when 
     using the price gun. Futhermore, 
     she say that  each items have 
     different price and  must change   the price in the price gun  
  before using it  for labelling.

4. This information really helps me  
    during labelling activity and i do  
     it very carefully.

     makes me realise that i already 
     become used to the working 
     enviroment here.

2. Fifth day i start my work by packing things. I packed spices and some other kitchen ingredients. During packing i get to know about two types of weighting scale. One is digital weighting scale and another one is normal weighting scale.

3. The digital weighting scale is latest scale and in this modern era most of the grocery store start to using this. This digital weighting scale is easy compare to normal weighting scale. The digital weighting scale can measure weight of the things accurately and  show the price of the things according the weight of the things we measure on that time.

4. The normal weighting scale just can measure the weight of the things without the price of the items we measure on that time.

Today is my sixth day of siep. Today owner Mr.Kesavan had given me responsibility to check all the stocks that sent by the agents. Mr.Kesavan teach me how to check all the stocks that sent my the agents. I have to check the receipts that have quantities of stock and the types of things that order by store owner to ensure that the owner's total amount of orders is equal to the amount sent by the agents. I also have to makesure that they sent right things that we order.

2. After I check all the stocks some workers keep all the stocks at the store nicely.

My seventh day of siep was quite suprising for me. On this day the owner Mr. Kesavan ask me to get training as cashier from his wife. This is because his wife the only one will be at counter at all time and she will be incharge as cashier there. She will take the customer's money after total up their things. After that she will give their change and a receipt to them.  She also have to wrap or bag their purchases.

2.After that, I went to counter and began to learn about the works there. Mrs. kesavan teach me the responsibilities as a cashier and she also advice me that must be careful and wise all time when work as a cashier.

3. Then, on that i day i got oppertunities to help  Mrs.Kesavan to wrap or bag customer's purchases. 

4. This day just passed by doing training as a cashier at counter.

My eight day of siep began with training at counter. But this time Mrs. Kesavan teach me how to use the cashier machine. Nowadays, most of the store using latest cashier machine to make their work  easier. Mrs. Kesavan teach me all the function of cashier machine.

2. After that, i get to know all the function of cashier machine. On the same time, she also teach me how to scan the goods that purchased by the customers. I have to scan the barcode of the products so that the price of products will show on the screen of cashier machine. Futhermore, i also get to know that for wholesaller the goods price will be different and we have to change the setting of the cashier machine before count the price of goods  that purchased by them.

3. Mrs. Kesavan also advice me to be careful when counting customer's money when working as cashier. Later, she give me opportunity to working at counter. I was nervous at that time. But she was standing beside me to guide n help me. Its make feel comfortable and relax.

4. I feel nervous and scared to scan customer's things for first time and the feelings remain for few minutes.But Mrs. kesavan advice me not to scared and she encourage me very well.

5. Encouragement of Mrs. Kesavan give me a confident and i try my best in that.

6. Finally, i able to do my work as a cashier and i do it very well. Mrs. Kesavan also praised me for this.

On my ninth day of siep also i continue my work as cashier. But today i worked alone without guidness of Mrs.Kesavan. I able to do my work very well althought there was many customers on that day. I feel proud for that
