NoodleTools is a program that I am required to teach to 1000 + students each year. I originally created a Storyline Rise tutorial but once my free trial expired, so did the tutorial. I created one on Google Slides, in hopes that I can share it with the 7th graders that have not fully learned how to cite their sources. Using this tutorial will help me be available to work closer with individuals and allow students to feel more independent. It will also give students the opportunity to check back on the slideshow for refreshers if they are working from home.

It is a Google Doc with links to each step of the research process, which is a quick and convenient way for teachers to reduce click fatigue.

This week I am having our students in my MathLab help create our very own GimKit using KitCollab! Students will be in groups of 2-3 and need to come up with two different types of questions. The first type is a problem in standard form that has to be re-written in y=mx+b. The second is to make up two points and write a y=mx+b equation from those two points. Each group must also give the correct answer for their questions AND three incorrect answers. I decided to do this in order to give our students an opportunity to interact with one another, to create/contribute something, and to challenge them to create their own questions rather than just simply solve them. This will hopefully push them to think more in depth about the topic we are learning.
