After reading this article I believe that people are going to become selfish after the fact of all this social distancing and not care as much about others as we did before. In the article it mentions that people were wired to be social and talk to people and see people face to face. A second point in the article is that loneliness in people is associated with 26 percent increase in premature deaths. In my current experience with social distancing I have found that face time and other platforms on social media are a great way to still connect with the friends and family that we love. Also I have noticed that it is hard to not be able to see your friends or visit your grandparents although it is nice to spend quality time with my parents and siblings. -Peyton

After reading this article I believe that people are going to be okay considering we have social media to communicate with others. We are all hopefully going to come out of this with a better mindset and be more grateful of what we have. In the article its states that loneliness is 26 % more increasing of premature deaths. Which is sad but with a healthy at home life and the amount of communication we have with people through media during this time should help with all the loneliness.

After reading this article, I believe that it's very hard to decide whether or not this social distancing is going to work. In my opinion, I think it will help with what's going on in the world, but everyone has to commit to the distance part of it. In the article it mentions that, it affects people behavior and how they act. Many people are so use to collaborating with others that's just how you lived, but now their are patterns of behaviors that feel unnatural and uncomfortable, leading to a rise of anxiety. A second point in the article it states, that our society has learned to evolve of sharing each others company and without socializing, it may make people lose their minds and change their behaviors, but if we want to settle this conundrum down we have to act against our evolutionary drive for interaction. So far, during my quarantine days I have always spent plenty of time with my family(parents), but now there is so much more time where you get to interact and live daily with them and I will tell you my family and I consistently do some type of activity at night, whether it's watching a movie, going on another LONG walk, playing board games, etc. but you get to learn way more about them and it's very interesting on how you see them now, then when you you weren't social distancing from others in the world.

After reading this article I believe that people will realize how much human interaction means to us. In the article it mentions that the anxiety level of humans are rising and believe that is true because we relay on other humans for are own survival and are own well being. A second point in this article is that it mentions that humans cooperation is an evolutionary essential for are survival.

After reading the article I believe that we can stay connected at a distance it just wont be as enjoyable for us. In the artical it mentions "Persistent loneliness can reduce our capacity to look after ourselves and can even harm our physical health." A second point in the artical is cooperation and I think that one is interesting as well because I totally agree that life is easier when we can work together and get things done. In my current experience with social distancing I am dying of boredom and would much rather be at school or at least with other people.

Although i doubt not being able to see other people will affect how we take care of ourselves .

After reading the article I believe that yes we can stay connected from long distances. In the article it says that it will affect a lot of peoples behavior. I think that this is true because with my personal experience to this it has affected my behavior in many ways. At sometimes I feel self motivated because I don't have other peers to judge what I'm doing but at the same time us humans are social creatures, well most of us. So due to this its also hard for me to find motivation from people like my friends from school. In the article unfortunately it says that loneliness is increasing the rate of premature deaths. I can see why because some people don't have healthy family's to go home to and school can be a good escape from that. They can get away from what ever situation they are facing at home but do to this social distancing they are forced to stay home and cant find help. Its unfortunate and social media can even be an add on to that stress and loneliness. Over all I think that its gonna be hard for everyone. We might have many losses to it but that life and we have to through the punches that it throws at us. Their is my opinion on the social distancing.
