The most memorable competition that I participate in is a quiz contest. It is about Chinese classical poetry. My teacher formed groups for us and gave us the scope which will be test in competition. It is memorable because we needed to memorise a lot of things put a lot of effort to get good performance. I remember my group mates and I were still revising the syllabus even it was already mid night. However, our final scores in the competition was not as good as we expect. We didn’t even get in the semi-final. We were all upset after hearing this news.

The most memorable competition that I have joined before is the last year’s speech festival. My English teacher chose me and another classmate from my class to participate in it I was quite nervous because that was the first time where I am facing to the judge and other competitors after the covid. It was also a new experience because before was just hanging a video but this time is live. I put a lot of effort on this as is a new thing and I wanted to get the third three prizes. I remember seating next to me was a shy girl. I once thought she was weaker than me. However on the stage she was actually very confident and did well. At last I didn’t get the prizes but I thought that this was a very new and memorable experience. Although I felt a bit of disappointed.

The most memorable competition that I participated in was a football competition. The competition included many strong teams. It was a tough challenge for us.We won the first three matches first,which brings us to the semi finals.Eventually,it brought us to the finals facing one of the strongest teams in Hong Kong.By the end of the first half, we were losing by one.Surprsingly, we didn’t give up and got the gold medal.

We had a great time, the memories truly made it special.This competition also taught me the importance of teamwork.

A week later the competition started, people there are all children like me they all look like a professional player and a feel a little afraid. As expected, I lost in the first round but it is really fun.

The most memorable competition that I participated in is the All Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Table Tennis Tournament.

When I was in primary, I started playing table tennis all day and train very hard, one day my coach gave me and my partner a chance to play in a inter school doubles tournament, we were happy and trained harder and harder. This tournament was a competition in which only the winners of each stage play in the next stage, until one competitor or team is the final winner, unlucky, our first round opponent was last year’s champion, but my partner and I believed that we could win the match. I think it was memorable because we played well in all matches and developed teamwork and deepened our friendship, we also won second place at the end.

The most memorable competition that I had participated was the Hua Xia Cup when I was 7. In the competition, competitors were sent to a different school and were split into different classrooms. Our goals were to answer math questions correctly as fast as we can in a limited time. At last I only got a second prize, which made me a bit disappointed.

The most memorable competition that I have participated in was the speech festival because that was the first time I went to join a formal competition .

The first time to participated in this kind of competition make me so nervous .I worked very hard before this competition I went to practice with the tutor after school almost every day and also practiced the speech repeatedly .

When the day of the competition arrived , I felt so scared because when I joined this competition I was only 6 or 7 and that cause me kept making different mistakes.

At last I only got a 4th place, I felt disappointed because couldn't receive an award but I still felt proud when I received the score because that was my first try .

competition for me is my first time to win in the fencing tournament.The competition had 100 above fencers and all are strong players.At first,I am scared to lose so fast and scold by my teacher.However,I did well on that day so I got a good seeding.About two hours later,I am already at the semi-finals,I defeat my competitor and went to the grand final.I am exiting and also anxious.Suddenly,my competitor’s leg had got injured and can’t compete so I won the gold medal.

The most memorable competition is the time when I competed in a piano competition, which every competitor need to choose one song to preform in front of about 60+people.

I think i was about 10 years old when i joined the competition. I was very confident that I would perform pretty well at that time, because I was grade 7 in piano, but things didn't go well as I expected.

After a long term of waiting, it's finally my turn to perform on stage. The very moment of me sitting on the bench next to the piano, my leg start shaking and my heart was pumping so fast like i just got a heart attack.

When I calmed myself down, I started my performance. It was kind of okay at the start but it was horrible in the end. My fingers were dancing on the keys and my teacher, who was staring at me at the side of the stage just won't stop laugghing at me, and that's why this is the most memorable competition I've ever be in.

the most memorable competition that I have joined was my first violin competition among the schools in Hong Kong, I was very nervous that day because I had never stood in front of hundreds of people on a stage. When I stood there, the notes that I remembered had gone, I can't remember anything and my brain was just blank. So at last, I tried my best to remember it but the result is really bad.

The most memorable competition ive participated in was the Hong Kong Inter-School Championships 2024. When me and my other badminton teammates went into the finals, we were very nervous because we are going to be playing against an other school who is strong. But in the end we’ve won the champion. It was memorable because first of all, that is the last year of me in primary, second it is the first time for our school primary section to win the champion for this events.

The most memorable competition that I have ever joined is when I participated in a drawing competition which each participant need to hand in their own drawings before a certain due date.

I wasn’t only competing with other participants I also competed with the time as I started my drawing one week before the due date and I stressed out,I knew I couldn’t make it in time so I asked my sister to help me and finally finished my art work one day before the due date and successfully handed it in.

Few weeks later I finally got the results and I got 1st-runner up ,this made this competition the most memorable competition I’ve ever been in.

The most memorable competition is a rhythmic gymnastics competition. It is a competition in Shanghai. Before I go to Shanghai, I just hope I can get a top eight because a huge competition. I was the first to compete in the whole competition when the mark got out, I was a little bit disappointed about it because I thought I did quite good I got a 13.65 , But luckily my first routine was in the top8 I was so excited.

After that routine, I have two more routine left , the first routine gave me some confident . Before going onto the carpet, my coach said, don’t be scared just do your best ,I took a deep breath and stepped on the carpet. Surprisingly, I didn’t do any mistake and I got a mark that is quite high 16.85. Lastly, my result came out I got one 1st ,one 2nd ,two 3rd and one sixth.I also got a $500 cash price ! I was so delighted!

That was my memorable experience at first, I didn’t think that I could get a medal or a top 8, but after lots of hard work, it all pays off.

I have been a piano competition when I was small and it was memorable because there were a lot of people looking at me.

The most memorable competition I had ever joined was when I was playing a high-level basketball tournament with 15 other top schools.

In the first three games, we smoothly win all of them. But when we got into the finals, the game was intense. The whole game were going back and forth.

When we checked back into the game, we aimed for the best opportunity for a shot. Finally, in the last 5 second, I was wide open in the corner. My teammate passed me the ball, and in the final second, I made a 3 point shot to take the lead and the win.

It made this game memorable because I made the final shot to win the game which barely happens in a basketball game.

My most memorable competition was 4 months ago that’s right, it’s the speech festival!

On the day of the competition, the venue was crowded, there were parents, and students that are really anxious, including me, the poem was “a friend’s prayer”.

After reciting my poem to the judge, I thought I couldn’t get third place. To my surprise, I got second place!!!!!!

This competition was memorable because I got second place! (I’m still so proud of myself not gonna lie)

The most memorable competiton is the competiton I attented 4 months ago, which is Inter-school fencing competiton. Although I was a back up, I am still important in the team.

At first we are losing for around 5 marks, my team mates tried their best to get back those 5 marks and try to get over them. But they failed.

Later, one of my senior team mate have another match so I replace her instead. I was very nervous before I attend in the competition. After my coach and team mates's encourage, I finally have confident to win the race.

After few rounds of battle, I won my round and successfully went into the final round. My senior team mate came back. As she took the last point, we Pui Kiu Colledge got the champion!

I feel very proud and touching in this competition.

The most memorable competition is my tennis competition from last year. It was in December and I won two rounds in the competition with my teammates.

My competitor is really strong so I lost 1-2 in the first three rounds. Her serve was really strong so I lost a few points because of that.

It was my time to serve, and I won that round.

I was really stressed that tome when it was 5-6 (end of competition when opponent reaches 6 points)

I tried to calm myself down then I suddenly thought of whaty coach said to me.

"Don't be stressed, just try your best!"

Then I went on the court to play again. After 2 matches, I won 7-6 (because if both people reaches 6-6 there will be another round, its normally called as tiebreaker)

I was really happy and I celebrated with my parents after that. I also learned that if you lose a match, its fine, just remember what you did wrong and you can do it better next time and not to fo the same mistake wrong again.

My most memorable competition was a piano competition, I had joined it when I was small. Although I didn’t get any awards, it’s still memorable because it was my first time playing piano on stage.

Last year, I joined my school senior choir. We practiced hard - learning songs, practicing moves, and singing as one. It was tiring, but we became like family, helping each other and never giving up.

In competitions, we stood nervous but excited on stage. When we sang, everyone’s voices mixed perfectly. Once, after a strong performance, the judges named us winners! We jumped and hugged, proud of our teamwork. That year, we won many times.

This taught me that working together beats working alone. Even when tired, we kept going because we cared about the group. Now, I still smile remembering those days.

Maybe its just bad luck or im too lazy to join one,the only competition ive been in in video games.

but I suddenly relised thats why i am special,I dont need to be in a competition to prove my worthiness, i just have to be myself:)
