The best two methods to use when working as a healthcare worker when having to move something heavy is to either push or pull instead of lifting. This helps prevent you from any injuries like unnecessary fatigue and strains and it also saves you energy to continue your work.

In healthcare when you are lifting up a object you have to lift up the object the right way or you will strain your back. When you lift the object make sure you keep it close to your body. Always avoid bending or twisting your bodies and always get help if a patient or any object is to heavy for you. Healthcare facilities require you to wear a back support to prevent any back injuries

I think one of the most important things to know about fire is knowing what starts it. Every fire starts with 3 things and those three things are oxygen, fuel, and heat. Most fires tend to start because of matches or smoke. Theres other reasons why fires start for example when there is a overuse of cords connected causing an electrical fire. Also when there is improper storage of flammables and improper rubbish disposal. Knowing this can help you prevent causing a fire of your own. One of the biggest fire safety tips is to never open emergency doors, fire doors not only let people out but they keep fire from spreading.

Faulty equipment and the improper use of any equpiment causes fires in healthcare facilities. If the equipment is cracked or theres split cords or even plugs on the equipment used then you should report it. Always remember to keep combustibles away from heat, prevent any sparks in patients areas where oxygen is used, and cap and store combustible liquids properly. Always tend to keep maintenance and storage areas extremely clean, keep halls and stairways clear and clean, and always be sure that EXIT signs are always lighted in case of any emergency.
