How do we reduce our carbon footprint?
- Find more environmental alternatives to driving. i.e. Walk places, ride your bike, catch public transport, drive an electric vehicle
- Use small energy efficient home appliances such as fridges, washing machines, etc.
- Turn off lights when you leave rooms, use solar powered lights or consider installing skylights
- Eat locally produced fresh produce. This will reduce the carbon emissions created by the vehicles that may be used to transport food
- Reuse and recycle materials to decrease carbon emissions associated with the overproduction of goods
- Switch to online. Instead of printing emails and assignments and reading a paper copy of the news, do it online to reduce paper production

The dead corpses of animals release all of their carbon in their body into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Killing less animals will reduce our carbon footprint.

How to fix?

If the world population stops/reduces their meat intake and use alternative ways (Soy bean meat) the farmers would decrease as a result of an economical decline. This would reduce the amount of animals being killed and therefor reduce the worlds carbon footprint.
