For example, Animal Rebellion blocked four McDonald's distribution centres in May which meant that McDonald restaurants across the UK saw a drop in menu options. This shows a minority of people imposing their beliefs on a majority that possibly do not share the same ideals. This can be referred to the tyranny of the majority.

For example, I know that, at least in the US, it costs money to adopt a child. Why is there a value on children? Furthermore it would feel dehumanising to know that you're worth money and that people can just buy you. 

We could twist the sentence. Sold to whom? To sell where? It should also depend on if the person who is being sold agrees with this. For example, as I've seen in another statement, human who have agreed to be sold (for a certain amount of time) such as sex workers.
