From my own observation, throughout my daily interaction with others, I often have a lot of emotions that I would not express out. The way that I act out is different from what is going on in my mind. As a result, I decided to shoot out what was going on in my mind when I was having interactions with others.

Zhonglin is a Maylsian-Chinese based in Taiwan. She is a self-taught photographer and started her career by experimenting with black and white film at university. Lin has made collaboration work with Harper's Bazaar, ELLE and W Korea throughout her production. She often seeks inspiration from what she sees or feels in her daily life. In 2020 when the pandemic hits, Lin created a project called project 365, where she takes pictures every day. In her interview, Lin said the initial to creating this project is to "rediscover myself and do what I like without restrictions." The image series has inspired me to rediscover my inner self-identities as to how they differ from what I expressed. Ren Hang, a Chinese photographer and poet, was born in 1987 and passed away in 2017. Back in 2007, when Ren was still studying advertising at university, he bought his first camera and started his shooting journey. Many images that Ren shoots are his family or friends. The themes he engages in are mainly nudity or the natural environment. However, due to the policies in China, nudity is prohibited. Ren Hang's work has appeared in GQ Style and Vice magazines. Besides, he had collaborated with fashion companies like Rick Ownes and Gucci.
