There is an interesting aspect of people who tend to work things first rather than leaving things for last & that is homework. Most of the time, homework can make us feel overwhelmed for how many &/or by how long this homework is to complete at times. And these can affect us by how tedious they can be at times & getting stressed at the thoughts of not being able to complete these homework in time can cause serious harm to many.

Perhaps, specially to those students that truly try to excel in class, being academic excellence is a necesity. Not just for the mere pride of it, but for those who wish to join private or foreign universities & have great student profiles. And it's for this reason that many overstress in excelling in the sheer amount of work that can be left by teachers.

Many times when we fail an exam, our first instinct is to blame the teacher. "They didnt teach it well enough" or " They made the exam too hard" Yes, these are just excuses most of the time. Excuses for choosing to stay hours reading or playing videogames the night before. In the end, that bad grade was the consequence of not being able to prioritize the day before. In the end, it should serve as a lesson of making time for both studying and enjoying a hobby accordingly. It seems simple enough and yet most of us are victims to the weak minded principle of blaming the others surrounding us instead of ourselves.

Managing our time in order to fulfill all our academic duties is essential for us to get good grades and excel at school. There are many ways to optimize the way we tackle school assignments. One of these is known as the pomodoro technique. Its about setting a timer in which you work non-stop, and after the time is over, take a small break, then setting the work timer once again. After repeating this 3 times, take a long break. The options to optimize our time for school are endless. Doing every assignment last second, with only 3 minutes before the due date, is our choice. Studying for a test plenty of time beforehand is our choice. We decide how to manage our time at school, and if we will enjoy our free time stressless or panicking over doing a project that was due on Saturday on Friday night.

Rory Gilmore is the perfect example of someone who makes wise academic decisions. She is an amazing girl who throughout her life pursues different academic obstacles and who never defers from that lifestyle. Unlike her, we shouldnt only focus on our studies but instead just follow her example of constantly remembering the importance of not being ignorant and of making the most out of the opportunities presented to us.

Academic skepticism is a philosophy adopted from the ancient greeks that questions whether we are truly capable of discerning the absolute truth about the world. Academic skeptics believe that human senses are biased and fallible, thus it leads to uncertainty about the truth. Academic skeptics maintain an attitude of doubt and refrain from passing judgment on things.

In a way, freedom in academics is deeply rooted with academic skepticism, as it promotes intellectual autonomy, open-minded approaches to knowledge, curiosity, inquiry, and our freedom to explore different beliefs and perspectives.

As students, it's essential we understand that good results in school won't arrive on their own. There are certain school habits that facilitate the whole academic journey. Some of these include taking notes in class, reducing procrastination, prioritizing study time, having a designated study area, and many more. Different study habits may work well with different kinds of people. Nobody is restricted to using a certain study habit, so it's very important we learn which of them fit us efficiently in order to start implementing them on our academic lives.
