This is because it shows flaws and weaknesses in the court systems and law enforcement. Being accused needs to be taken care of as soon as possible because it affects hundreds of people each year(149 rape accusations in 2015). And even though you think once they catch right person, people think the other just goes back to normal life. But no it goes on their record forever and it is extremely difficult to get a job. Also no one wants to hire someone who is even in the conversation of committing a crime.
