In Hamlet, many characters struggle with conflicted emotions. Hamlet, in particular, desperately attempts to avenge his father but struggles internally when making decisions related to it. This poster suggests that perspective and self-awareness are essential for success. The mirror is centered to make the viewer engaged in the poster, suggesting that they assess their own self-awareness. The light in the mirror is white to create the effect of purity and further attracts the viewer to the mirror. The text is black and thin to match the subtle grey tones and and create a minimalist style.

This poster represents the feud between Hamlet and Claudius. In the book, Hamlet despises Claudius and wants to murder him to avenge his father. The two snakes pictured are Hamlet and Claudius. The snakes are symbols for evil and hate. They are facing each other in anger, but at the same time they are the same. This gets across the theme that lying, deceit, and evil are found in all humans. The red text contrasts the black to add the effect of anger. The snakes are reflected to create the effect of symmetry.

From his famous skull-holding speech to his inability to kill Claudius, death is contemplated by Hamlet throughout the book. This poster suggests the theme that it is natural to fear death. The skull represents death and the darkness surrounding it represents the unknown. The skull is isolated similar to how death is ultimately experienced alone. The skull is facing the text as its only tie to humanity, clinging to it as humans do to life. The text is red with a white border to contrast the darkness surrounding the skull.

This poster is a visual representation of Ophelia's death. Ophelia was a character who was never taken seriously throughout Hamlet and she eventually goes mad. She dies by drowning in a pond. She was the victim of the evil and treachery around her. The poster has a dark, hopeless theme that represents Ophelia's death. The hand is reaching out to nobody, similar to how Ophelia was isolated by her loved ones and treated unfairly. The hand reaching out of the water also provides an uncomfortable, suffocating effect. The text is in red to contribute to the themes of treachery and despair.
