After many attempts at book writing during her high school and college , her efforts were bad for almost 10 years while she concentrated on being a teacher, wife, and mother. It was teaching in the higher elementary grades that helped her decision to try to write for children. Her first book came out in 1964 and her 44 book for kids was published in September 2009.

Reincarnation- The belief that your soul returns to a new body after death.

Ex-  The Egyptian pharaohs believed in reincarnation and prepared for life in the next world. 

Escapades-  A wild adventure or prank 

Ex-  His last escapade caused him to be expelled from school. 

Monoliths- A monument or statue made from a single block of stone

Ex-  The Great Sphinx, in Giza, is the largest monolith in the world. 

Evasive- Serving to allow one to avoid,escape, or fail to do something.

Ex-  He was very evasive when his mother asked him if he completed his chores.

The story includes very unique characters and a plot twisting story. The vocabulary is very advanced and helps the reader learn more. The story is very intriguing and makes the reader want to keep reading.
