1-He was an English naturalist who was fascinated by nature.
2-At the age of 22 he began a five year voyage aboard the british ship “Beagle” to explore, observe and study the natural world.
3-He wanted to observe and study nature and how natural selection worked.
4-Darwin felt like a blind man being giving sight
5-He kept detail records of what he saw during his voyage, he collected fossils and he drew and observed plants and animals he saw there.
6-He decided to takle the mystery of species
7-Thanks to his studies he understood that all living things are related.
8-He shared his thoughts with his brother because his discoveries were dangerous at that time and he was scared.
9-He didn’t publish his ideas because he didn’t want to go against what people believed.
10-In his days people thought that God created life so he was the creator of all the animals and plants.
11-It took him 23 years of work to finally present his ideas to the world.
12-The Origin of Species is Darwin’s revolutionary book that introduced the scientific theory to explain the evolution of species.
13-He called his mechanism of change natural selection.
14- His contribution is very important because he told us why biology makes sense, the sequences of the gene’s structure of our body and even our instict in therms of behaviour.
