They had an advantage due to their natural resources like iron and coal which helped with producing technology. They were the first to make factories and machines like the steam engine,spinning jenny,and the telegraph which increased their economy and technology.<br>Steam engine- helped make hot steam, to move machines and trains<br>Spinning Jenny- it was used for wool and cotton, usually every woman had one in their homes<br><br></div>]]></description>

They had a major increase in their banking and capital due to the demand for steel and coal which led to the steel industry.          <description><![CDATA[<div>They were a little late but transformed themselves into a more modernized country in a few months, the revolution mostly occurred during the Meiji era to try and catch up with the west to protect their traditions. They built factories, increased coal production for fuel, and also built railroads.<br>Osaka spinning mill- opened cotton bales and also cleaned them which made it faster to make clothes.<br>Steam-powered mechanized production - it led to many factories using the steam engine idea which pumped water out of coal mines.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>They didn't necessarily had the best events since they were under the British rule. They also had a cotton plantation and were forced to grow cash crops instead of food crops which caused famine. Most cotton went to fuel English factories and they began to restrict textile imports from India. <br>Cotton plantation- a large area filled with cotton were many people fathered cotton to give to the English.<br>Cash crops- used for commercional value <br><br></div>]]></description>

Their rise was because of their factory system and the production of textiles, chemicals, metals, and cement which was also in high demand. This increased their economy as well and increased their trading connection with other regions.They also invented The wheel which helped England create vehicles. <br>mills for grinding grain- it crushes materials into smaller parts<br>irrigation systems- supplying land with water to grow more crops inland.</div>]]></description>

This increased trade with east Asia and since it settled between Europe and Asia, they had an advantage and could access trade easily. They were mostly motivated by capitalism which led to factories making textiles and steel.</div>]]></description>
