         <description><![CDATA[<div>Relate to stages of grief&nbsp;<br>-denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance&nbsp;<br>-contacting people after lockdown<br>-Rieux's anger towards Paneloux- watches child suffering and questions how Priest continues to 'profit' from others' suffering and desperation<br>Emotions they feel are universal<br>-watching child die, desperation for hope, emotionally numb/exhausted to suffering of others<br>-"express astonishment rather than pain"- realisation that things are not improving, hopelessness&nbsp;<br>Normal people- not exceptional<br>-Normal people step up and take on leadership- always someone who seems 'normal' who does something exceptional<br>Changed/developments in relationships/self awareness<br>-Rambert and his love interest<br>-Mindset changed- "Thought he was a stranger"- everyones responsibility not just those who suffer- considering his own suffering compared to suffering of others</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>SA blackout- adaption to drastic changes- implications of the events, sacrifice one thing to get another<br>-separation of families- quarantine- trying to lessen affects<br><br>Physically disconnected- immersed in own culture, therefore closed minded- isolated from the rest of the world, evidence of suffering- people don't come to terms with reality until it directly effects them emotionally<br>We are like those on the other side observing the Plague from a distance- hearing about the suffering but not truly understanding<br>Lack of resistance- like Cottard who says plague is to strong- we 'care' about suffering of others and do nothing<br>Year 9 camp- in difficult situations how relationships change- better or worse- bonds are strengthened or weakened</div>]]></description>
