I think it is important to protect the nature and environment for our own survival. For example, if we cut down the trees, animals will lose their homes and we will not be able to enjoy pretty sceneries, or see any animals. Most importantly, there will be lesser oxygen to breathe and we may die. We may also kill the animals, which means that we will have no vegetables or animals (chickens, cows etc) to eat.

Turn the shower off when soaping ,

Use a cup when you brush your teeth,

Recycle recyclables,

Not buying unnecessarily,

Ordering the portion you will eat,

Reuse items if it is still in good condition,

I can reduce my water and electrical consumption by taking shorter showers and turning of lights and fans when I am not using them.I can also avoid using the air conditioners in my house as it takes up a lot of electricity.I can recycle my plastic bottles, including bottle caps, which I currently do.Let’s do our part to make Singapore a cleaner and greener country!
