Activity details:
Approx 220 year 9 students will be attending the careers fair.

This will be an opportunity for students to learn about the range of career options open to them after they leave school. We are looking for organisations to have a stand at the event, bringing along any banners, leaflets, and any promotional materials you would like to share with students. Students will be moving around stalls and asking any questions, and you will be sharing about your organisation and career opportunities.

In the second part of the day, volunteers will have the opportunity to deliver 5 minute career talks to smaller groups of students, and for students to ask questions.

Year group: 11 (aged 15 - 16)

The Rise School is a thriving school educating children with autism. They are looking for an exciting Insight Visit for 10 of their year 11 students to a local employer. 

The visit will include a tour of your workplace, an opportunity to speak with current staff, and a sector-based activity (quiz, business challenge, design challenge, etc). Spark! will work with you to plan and design this activity, which you can replicate for future visits.

Chiswick School looking for an exciting Insight Visit for 25 of their students to an employer's office or site on either Tuesday 2nd, Wednesday 3rd or Thursday 4th July. 

The visit will include a tour of your workplace, an opportunity to speak with current staff, and a sector-based activity (quiz, business challenge, design challenge, etc). Spark! will work with you to plan and design this activity, which you can replicate for future visits.

We are supporting Bolder Academy with the Kickstart Programme. This involves their year 10 students attending an Insight Visit at an employer's office or site. We are looking for employers to host up to 30 students on Thursday 11th July.

The visit will include a tour of your workplace, an opportunity to speak with current staff, and a sector-based activity (quiz, business challenge, design challenge, etc). Spark! will work with you to plan and design this activity, which you can replicate for future visits.

Year group: 12 (aged 16 - 17)

We are supporting Featherstone High School with the Kickstart Programme. This involves their year 12 students attending an Insight Visit at an employer's office or site. We are looking for employers to host up to 30 students on Tuesday 16th July.

The visit will include a tour of your workplace, an opportunity to speak with current staff, and a sector-based activity (quiz, business challenge, design challenge, etc). Spark! will work with you to plan and design this activity, which you can replicate for future visits.

Year group: 10 (aged 14 - 15)

Activity Details:

The event is aimed at the year 10 (age 14-15) year group at St Marks Catholic School. There will be 180 students in total, divided into two halves.

The aim is for students to develop their confidence and communication skills and expose them to a variety of industries and careers.

We are looking for volunteers to take part in a Speed Networking Session, or to take part in Careers Activities.

Year Group: 11 (aged 15-16)

Activity details:
We are looking for volunteers to join us to help young people with special needs to build their confidence speaking to new people by completing mock interviews. Students are aged 15-16 and need your help especially because they will be going on placement in the new year. Training and materials will be provided.

Year Group: 10 (aged 14-15)

Activity details:
We are looking for volunteers to join us to help young people with special needs to build their confidence speaking to new people by networking with different volunteers. This will also help them to learn about careers they didn’t know about, inspire and motivate them. Students are aged 14-15 (Year 10). Training and materials will be provided.

The following sectors have been requested by the school and we particularly welcome volunteers from the industries of sport, hospitality, business, performing arts, art, mechanics, hair and beauty and horticulture.

#Volunteers: One organisation (Hammersmith and Fulham based) to host an Insight Day

#Students: 15 - 18

Year Group: 9 and 11

Activity details:
Cambridge School are looking for an exciting Insight Visit for 15 - 18 of their year 9 (aged 13-14) and year 11 (aged 15-16) students to an employer's office or site. There is some flexibility on the date but the school is hoping for late February.

The students are interested in hospitality or a workplace which has a hands-on, practical element to it. There is also flexibility on number of students, but ideally, you would be able to host around 15 to 18 pupils.

Ideally, the visit should be to a workplace in the Hammersmith and Fulham borough.

Year group: 10 (aged 14 - 15)

We are looking for 5 employers to host up to 30 of Cranford Community College Year 10 students on Tuesday 12th March.

The visit will include a tour of your workplace, an opportunity to speak with current staff, and a sector-based activity (quiz, business challenge, design challenge, etc). Spark! will work with you to plan and design this activity, which you can replicate for future visits.

Activity Details:

We will need volunteers to support with running mock interviews with individual students over the course of the day. There will be 10 30 minute sessions throughout the day where you will be interviewing and providing feedback to one student.

If you can only attend for part of the day, that should be absolutely fine, please let us know.

They will be attending an exciting workplace visit on the 3rd July, so the workshops will also support them with preparing for and reflecting on this visit.

I am looking for a range of employers to run employability workshops and/ or talks (max 2 hours) through out the school day (9am - 3pm) on Tuesday 2nd and/ or Thursday 4th July. I am happy to support you with planning the content of the sessions.
