         <description><![CDATA[<div>The COVID-19 pandemic brought changes for all spheres of society, forcing individuals to modify their ways of life and behaviors. In view of the confinement, distance and social isolation imposed by the quarantine, the present project aims to discuss the changes brought about in social relations, focusing on the students' perspective and on the theme of learning recovery. For this purpose, it will use as a base the collection of materials from the “Telas Abertas” project, produced by Instituto Votorantim and Canal Futura, with the support of Ultragaz for dissemination.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the context of English teaching, it is possible to see technology as an ally capable of making classes more interesting and interactive, bringing more quality to the classes. This, of course, if it is used properly. Technology, applied to education, when used appropriately increases access, relevance, quality and engagement in teaching. For this reason, this project will use technology and the internet combined with educational materials available on social networks, object of great interest and engagement on the part of new generations.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Level: High School - Third year &nbsp;<br>Duration: two 50-minute classes.&nbsp;<br>Type of activity: Research, textual production, blog creation and group discussion.&nbsp;<br>Linguistic focus: Reading, reflection, writing and speaking&nbsp;<br>Resources: Computer or cell phone with internet access and text editing programs or applications.&nbsp;<br>Preparation:&nbsp;</div><div>Lesson 1 (50 minutes): Students must individually access the Instagram of the company Ultragaz ((<a href="https://www.instagram.com/ultragazoficial/?hl=pt-br">https://www.instagram.com/ultragazoficial/?hl=pt-br</a>) or the project’s website (<a href="https://pve.institutovotorantim.org.br/2020/10/15/saiba-tudo-sobre-o-projeto-telas-abertas/">https://pve.institutovotorantim.org.br/2020/10/15/saiba-tudo-sobre-o-projeto-telas-abertas/</a>) and identify the posts related to the project “Telas Abertas”. They must select one of the images, watch the corresponding video and write a text, in english, of a maximum of four lines, explaining why that image represents him in the current moment of the pandemic in his life or in his family.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;Lesson 2 (50 minutes): Students should access the class blog, available in the school's virtual learning environment. Then, they must post the image they chose in the previous class accompanied by the text that was written. They should also comment on the posting of colleagues with whom they identified. Then, the teacher responsible for the class will open the blog and read the texts together with the students, discussing, in english, the main difficulties raised by the students and brought about by the pandemic.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
